Overall the best SIP client for iOS, but…

… occasionally loses registration with server silently, meaning you don’t know you’re not receiving calls.

Also, can be prone to a silent hang when you first establish a SIP call (I’ve tried this across three SIP providers, so it’s not a server-side issue) which always is resolved by redialling.

That said, still by far the best SIP client on iOS, with far fewer issues and quicks than any others I’ve tried.

Had the rug pulled from under me

I was gifted this app back in 2011. I’m not certain the cost of the app but it was not cheap at the time, probably around $7-$15. Then this app became subscription based forcing people to pay up. I understand the costs in maintaining it but I find this incredibly exploitative and unfair to the people who originally paid and supported this app. They obviously don’t value their customers. At the very least give those original customers a lifetime subscription like malwarebytes did. It’s because of these tactics that I will not pay for this app and any others.

Scam app that doesn’t perform

The app doesn’t deliver as promised. Apple and the developer scams you by not refunding on an app that doesn’t work. I’ve clearly had to buy the paid subscription via counterpath.com Bria solo. This app makes you dial the caller three times before you actually can hear the caller.

Great app…but missing T9 dialing

Please, PLEASE add T9 dialing functionality to the Bria dialer. It would make life so much easier for me and I’m sure VERY MANY other people. Solid 5/5 if it had T9 dialing. Random calls work perfectly when the phone is idling in background and UI works just as it should, but T9. PLEASE. I’d even donate money for this feature

Allow keyboard to type in phone number

Probably the only voip app that actually works on iOS.

However, the most annoying thing (and probably very easy to rectify) is the fact that you can’t use a keyboard to enter a phone number. I use an iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard and it just doesn’t work. Also, is there a way to copy/paste a number into the app to call?

Hello, can you please confirm that you are activating the cursor on the device prior to typing on the keyboard? As for pasting the number on the dialer, you'd also need to activate the cursor. Flimsy app

Video is intermittent with Freebpx 16 server, sometimes it will go on on one side or another and most of the time it fails. Calls sometimes don’t go through, caller hears buzzes and receiver gets a pop up about missed call right away. For these money app should be more reliable!

Acceptable

The app does what it needs to…for the most part.
I get work calls on my cell, and the connection is passable. There are times that I notice not all calls are forwarded and sometimes a call gets stuck in my cell endlessly ringing. You can also only try and transfer once on Bria or the call drops, so make sure the person you’re trying to reach is actually there! Other than that it’d a fairly simple straightforward app that does what it’s meant to!
