Sharing just got easier! You can now share your lists, profile, and favorite places with anyone, even people who don't use the Local app! You can also edit tips now, so if you made a mistake or changed your mind about a restaurant, we have your back. *Fixed a UI bug involving the FAB and some potential issues with filtering.

Share your lists and places with your friends who use the Local app! Additionally, the app will remember your last search and return to those results when you leave the map or the app. The app will reset to your location when you restart your phone or close the app. We have also updated the app to account for even more countries so you can add your favorite places from around the world!

-- Fixed another issue causing users' profile pictures not to load - Because of changes to Google’s Places API, we have made several changes to how lists are stored in our database. Users of old versions of the app may have issues viewing lists and “cities” for users of newer versions. - Because of changes to Google’s Places API, we can no longer automatically load new places when the map is scrolled. Please use the new button at the top of the app to search for nearby places in an area you are viewing on the map. - If you experience any issues viewing your lists, try logging out through the Settings view accessible in your profile. If that does not work, try reinstalling the app. - We are working on reducing load times across all areas of the app, and now you should notice that the app saves your searches and filters as well as loading lists more quickly.

Users of old versions of the app may have issues viewing lists and “cities” for users of newer versions. - Because of changes to Google’s Places API, we can no longer automatically load new places when the map is scrolled. Please use the new button at the top of the map to search for nearby places in an area you are viewing on the map. - We have listened to our users’ experiences with filters and have made changes to make filtered searches more meaningful. Expect to see more changes to this feature in the future! - We are working on reducing load times across all areas of the app, and made some changes to make your saved places appear with little or no load time. We are working on improving load times for other users’ saved places as well.
