Description of Sender Unknown

Morgan and friends didn't do anything wrong, but find themselves in harrowing danger. Help them survive the traps and make difficult choices. Their life is in your hands now. The dialogue and story are written by professional writer Lisa Brunette. Morgan's friends and insulin supply are missing, and it seems the madman who took them wants to play games through the radio. He has a thing for riddles and traps—human traps, that is. The ability to receive images means you can see the traps for yourself—and help Morgan survive a chilling nightmare! Features: - Choose from 3 options at every decision! - Shape the story and build stats in 5 categories. Success or failure depends on your stats! - Open beautifully rendered images of crucial scenes and visual puzzles! - Engage with the story as it unfolds through real-time notifications! - Internet connection not required for playing. Daily Magic Productions teamed up with award-winning novelist and game writer Lisa Brunette to bring you this interactive tale where the choices you make can change everything. Multiple paths through the game give you wildly different results—from romance to exciting twists and reveals to who lives or dies. At every game ending, you have the option to reset to your last defining choice, to the start of the last chapter, or back to the very beginning. Stats add up as you play, and they can determine whether a choice you make succeeds, or fails. Can you beat a madman at his own game—without sacrificing anyone? Will you help Unknown Sender uncover the mystery that still haunts these dark woods? PLEASE NOTE! Sender Unknown: The Woods is a Freemium game, after Chapter 1 you will be offered to unlock the full story, all remaining chapters of the game. Reviews of Sender Unknown

  • A solid game!

If you enjoy text based games with puzzles, I would definitely recommend playing this game. It had a story that I was genuinely invested in, and it had me playing nonstop. I’m a sucker for games with this kind of atmosphere, so it was inevitable.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing, and I managed to win with high stats (compassion, logic, and knowledge in 100%) and everyone alive on my first play through! I’m not sure how easy that is to do, but I’d like to think that it’s impressive for my own sake.

It was a great experience, but I do have one complaint. I think it’s a bit too pricey for a game that can be completed within a few hours. However, I understand that game developers need all the money and support they can get, and the creators of this game are certainly deserving. I’d highly suggest buying this game to anyone that has a fair amount of money to throw around!
  • Loved it!

This is one of the best text adventure games I’ve ever played. I found myself really caring about Morgan and the other characters, and wanting to help them. It reminds me of the Lifeline series, which is a really high bar to meet! The pictures and puzzles took it to the next level, and the puzzle difficulty was just right. I wish it was longer, not because it feels unfinished (it doesn’t) but because I enjoyed it so much and want to know more of the story. Maybe a sequel?

Also, a note to those complaining about having to pay to get beyond Chapter 1... I love that we got to try the game before purchasing to see if it was worth the money. (Spoiler alert: It is.) You do realize the developers have to eat, right?
  • AMEHZING

This game has me on edge! Very suspenseful and not boring at all! The only thing bad about it is the cliffhanger at the end of chapter one, and I have to buy the rest. Other than that, I love the fact that it uses real time! SPOILERS—- For example- When Megan went to check the RV engine, it took about 30 minutes for her to reply. Now, that can be a good thing and bad, because I wanna know what happens next. But I like suspense and this game is amazing. If the creators are reading this, my dad bought the full version on his phone, which we have family sharing on, and it didn’t give me the full version like it normally would if on family sharing. So my only question is—- does this game not cooperate on family sharing? Or is it just bugging out?
