  • Solid game, that's fundamentally flawed

As can be gathered by the majority of other reviews, the positives of this game are quite clear, it's beautiful, has focused, quick, accessible game play and feels great to play in general. However, there is a major flaw that most people seem to fail in addressing, and unfortunately it nearly ruins the game and that's the simple fact that it is clear the game was not intended to extend much past level 5. This results in gameplay that not only becomes very suddenly unreasonably difficult, but will at times make the required maneuvers impossible. Add on top of this, that the game does not allow you to practice certain level difficulties and the game at this point is essentially reduced to an exceptionally boring grind of levels 1-5 (which are really easy) so I can get to level 6 which is the one I need to work on, but level 6 is clearly designed in an impossible manner to get past. I'm giving this game three stars because while it is broken as stated above, it's nothing that can't easily be fixed with a quick update, otherwise this game has everything it needs to be amazing. Fix the impossible levels and add a practice mode so players can practice on stand alone level difficulties to avoid the matter of wasting the majority of time on the levels leading up to the one you want to work on. With these two updates the game would be a five star.

  • Awesome

It's super fun because each time u lose get a low level u want to get a better one so you get addicted to the game!
  • Very fun, but controls need work

The game itself is aesthetically very pleasing. It runs very smoothly and looks great. However, the controls took forever to get used to and are very sensitive. Also I didn't like the scoring system. Please change it, so that there is a better scoring system.

Edit, June 15: Now that I played the game for a while, it's still my favorite. The games still looks very appealing. I am now very used to the controls and they seem perfect. Level 6 is very hard to beat tho. I feel that the developers should add some more gameplay. As of right now, I am stuck on level 6. I have tried for hours and days and I can't beat it. I feel like there is nothing more in the game I can play. If only there were like coin collection system where I can unlock different lines or arrows or something to make the game play more interesting. But I am still satisfied

  • Haven't even played, getting it solely for the description

I don't write reviews. I think in the 3-4 years I have been playing different games on my phone, I have done exactly 1 review for an absolutely terrible game that Was so bad I forcibly forgot the name.

I haven't even finished the download for this game, and I am already writing this review. This is because I love the description, and this game seems like it will be just as good as the maker's sense of humor.

Game dev, if you read this, you're awesome.

  • This is an awesome game.

I an having so much fun with this simple but incredibly difficult game! The controls take a while to get used to. The levels get progressively longer and more difficult. I have only made it up to level 5!

If they could add a checkpoint feature that would be nice, but otherwise I suggest you try this game out for yourself!

  • Amazing and a word about controls

This game is super fun and addicting, I have 0 problems with it. To all who complain about controls, they are supposed to be difficult, what's the point of playing an easy game. Another reason it is difficult is because in other games you may need to beat really easy parts before it gets challenging, this games starts you at the fun part. (BTW you will get the hang of the controls after like 10 min, not that hard)

  • 2 guys, 1 hypnotic technicolor vortex, 5 stars

The credits for this game consist of two guys, Ben Grant & Brandtz Dejans. Never heard of 'em? Yeah, me neither, but these 2 chaps designed & executed a brilliant game. It is a synthesis of minimalistic but subtle & mesmerizing graphics, pleasing beat-driven electronic music, and intuitive, hyperfocused, satisfying game play. This is indie game development at its very best. That this game is free can only mean that it's an early stepping stone in their careers, so take advantage while these guys are still building their resumè. It's better than 99% of the games you'll find in the app store, whether paid or free.

  • Excellent

Great game. The best game. Bigly fun.
  • Quite good

I am a huge fan of super hexagon, and this game is definitely scratching that itch.

    - I think you could tighten up the retry flow. Hexagon had a very fluid "again" sequence, and the stickiness of tapping a specific target on the screen is surprisingly jarring in comparison.

    - I think measuring by gates removes granularity to progress. TBH I think you should also score longest run in seconds

    - I find it disorienting to control when on the top of the screen. I think I'll spend more time to see if I can train myself through this, but if you've got alternative control ideas I think adding them to the settings would be welcome.

Congrats on the launch I'll keep playing.

  • Good, but...

I would definitely recommend this game to anyone, especially people who like to play a quick game they can dip in and out of. I use this game to kill time mostly, usually on buses 😂 I would give it a 5 star rating, but it needs one feature to make it perfect- a pause button. Please put one in! Otherwise an amazing game.
