  • Great app, but no support?

I have a question regarding the recording feature but there doesn’t appear to be any contact information for support.

    Developer Response

Dear MDRNON, In the Configuration -> About menu, you can find a link to my email (rrc2soft@gmail.com). Cheers, Rodrigo
  • Anyone giving this a low rating is not doing so because the app is bad

In fact, it’s good. It’s just not anything you might want in your head, but thats not where we’re at. As someone who is garbage at making apps but understands the struggle for doing, thanks so much for giving this project of yours for free. Keep it up.
  • I hate this app

  • Has potential but not intuitive

I’ve just downloaded this app. It appears to have a great deal of potential but it’s the least intuitive app I’ve ever come across. Thanks for taking the time to create this app but perhaps you can simplify it for us.
  • Top one

This app is a perfect app, but it is unknown.
  • Had a lot of fun with this today

Really nice for sequencing AUs together.

Was hoping there would be an option so keys could collapse based on the scale, eliminating the others? Glad to have it collapse in the sequencer though.

Very cool and well thought out. Thanks for this.
  • Get It!

Scale selection, positional velocity, virtual keys, .sf2 file abilities and a nice sequencer. Just get it!
  • Does what it says ...

This app is another take on a method for playing with song ideas based on chord progressions and scales. There are many apps that do various aspects of this but this one attempts to simplify the user interface and streamline it. I think it works well in that regard. This is why I rate it highly. I does exactly what it says it will for you.

Like almost all other apps in this class it does a poor job of allowing you to import/transfer your work from other apps. It has a very minimal MIDI file reader that does not even know how to break a file down into tracks. It just dumps all the note data into one track. I would love to see an approach to reading MIDI files in this app like the one in Synthesia but with more control and auto detection of key changes and chord progressions. There is no app that I can find that does this so it might provide a nice reason to spend $$$ on this app. I would be happy to pay for an app extension that does MIDI file import and true analysis and mining of good “ideas” in a MIDI file. Bonus point for support of those old “INS” instrument definition files as a way to translate the MIDI data.

Also - support for the SFZ standard would be nice.

  • Very useful for sketching song

This app is very user friendly and useful for sketching out music ideas. I like that in addition to built in sound fonts you can also load in AU instruments from other apps. Thank you to the generous developer for sharing this tool for free.
