Great.. but one problem

I absolutely love this!! It helps me so much and I’ve recommended it to others as well. One thing is I wish you could delete a session. For example if I let the app run when I wasn’t actually riding, you should be able to just delete it. Maybe you can... but I can’t figure out how. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Response from developer

Hello, thanks, I'm glad you like this app. To delete a session go to the main view with the list of all sessions and just swipe left on it.

The app is very good because it links with my Apple Watch and I can see how long I’ve been riding for and how much I have exhausted Energy through my Apple Watch.

Wonderful app, some issues

This app is really strong. It integrates well with the Apple Watch, Siri, and HealthKit. I haven’t found a better tool for specifically horseback riding on the market.

I do have some issues with it, however:

1. There’s no way to register it with Apple Health or give it permission for location tracking ahead of time. I recommend you start your first “workout” at home so as not to have to manage a horse, watch, and phone all at the same time.

2. The gps tracking and speed analysis is at points dubious. It worked really, really well when I hacked around the property, it worked far less well when I did all of my work in an arena (concluding I spent most of my time sitting still rather than riding circles at trot and canter).

3. The animated map is cute, but it’d have been nice to be able to rotate it by hand and not automatically go to the ride summary.

Overall though this is an excellent app with a lot of nice features.

Good start

Love the gait section and speed.

Map is great too.

A few issues - you can use Siri to start the app but not a session. So sort of useless. As that is where you would need to use her.

Another feature that would be beneficial to a rider Would be to be able To access past Routes and Follow same Route - Like GPS for the trails.

Response from developer

Hello, To start a session just say "Ride with Horse Riding Tracker" and it will start app as well as the session.

Love it

It’s a great app. Tracks my time, speed and rout very well, even though I do trail in a very remote area. Love it!

Awesome app

Love this app, have never had any issues with it and gives you all the info you’d want to know about your ride. Only downside is that half of the stats are given in km and some in miles, would love an option to change them all to either km or miles depending on preference.

Response from developer

Hello, Now it should be fixed, if the problem persists could you write me exactly where units differ from each other to rozga.wojtek@gmail.com? You can change units by changing your device region.

Was great until I changed phone.

It worked really well with my watch uploading data until I changed to an iPhone 8. Since then I can’t get the watch to transfer the data to my phone. Disappointed as it was working really well.

Response from developer

Hello, Do you still have your old phone with old data? I'm working on a new version that will allow to transfer data between phones and in the future with iPad app as well. Best regards, Wojciech Rozga

Great App

I have been using this app a few weeks now. It has been reliable and easy to use. I really like that it syncs with my Health app/data and I like the Apple Watch app as well. The map is SUPER detailed and awesome for zooming in and out. It was cool to look at some alternate routes this way too, by zooming in to see other trails/roads. I enjoyed it enough to subscribe. I will continue using it and recommended it to some friends. Two things I wish could be added to the next update that would make it better are:
1. A tutorial of some kind to walk me through the features would have been great.
2. I wish the share feature would include the map in the pro version.

Works ok

This app works ok but sometimes it crashes on Apple Watch and most of the time does not save rides.

Good app

Loving so much about this app, but after 2 uses it’s still not differentiating between fairs and is saying I’ve ‘stepped’ 100% of the way round, We definitely trotted and cantered
