Reviews of CFCU Visa

  • Garbage app

Absolute trash. I have been on the phone four separate times for hours with customer service and even they can’t figure out how to get it to accept my username and password that I have been using for years on their main website. They also have no idea how to issue a temporary username and password. Don’t waste your time.
  • Poor functionality and lack of features

04/2019 - I hate doing this but I have to be honest. This app has given me nothing but issues. There’s no baked in support or feedback mechanism so I had to come here to post a review. Whether I’m on home Wifi or Verizon cellular network I get frequent “server communication errors” and my transactions have to start all over (if I don’t get booted to the splash screen login page as I frequently do as well). When compared to Huntington Mobile App or Fidelity Mobile App this one makes me think there wasn’t a lot of effort behind delivering it. It’s actually sad because I was waiting a long time for the new system to get rolled out. Edit 06/1019 I was hoping by now it would get better but in addition to everything stated above, you cannot link more than one account at a time. I linked my checking account from a different institution as a ‘payment method’ along with my Century Federal savings account and almost got charged a late fee on my CenFed Credit Card because when you apply a payment from your Century savings account, it erroneously and automatically links your routing number from whatever checking account you have listed as your payment method. So basically you have to decide either use Century to pay your credit card or use a different institution, but do not list both as a ‘payment method’ and good luck trying to submit feature enhancement requests or support queries.
