Files disappear
This app is great, when it’s working properly. However, it has randomly been loosing files. After working super hard to create a new pattern, I came back to find most of my edits weren’t there. So, I worked hard to redo the pattern. Then, after my phone restarted, there was nothing saved from the last month. I will now be looking for a new app, as I don’t want to go through all that trouble again. Which is a bummer, because otherwise this app is great for creating and following knitting patterns.

Not good at print
Just bought the app as need professional software to create high quality charts for sale. Don’t mind to pay, but the first simple thing as a grid colour (I suppose the transparency of it) unable me to use this charts for printed PDFs as after print grid fades and almost impossible to see. Same with symbols legend, it’s too small and impossible to read. I’ve emailed to developer and didn’t have any response. Would like a refund because can’t use software with this configurations unable to change them for what I need. I am happy to stay if this little issues will be sorted. Thank you.

I have had the app for sometime but I haven’t really looked into it. what I am finding is that the app is easier to use than I thought it would be and although I still don’t understand all the different things you can do I’d really like what I’ve learned and I’ve been able to put a small chart together for myself, so I do like app.

Great App!
Many years ago a paid a good deal of money for a knitting chart maker that I really liked. Over time they added various complexities which were nice but not all that necessary for me.
But then they decided that the price I paid for a lifetime app wasn’t sufficient, which is fair if they are continuing to develop the app, but instead of charging more for add ons they went to a subscription model which I hate because I don’t use the app consistently enough to want to pay for it every month.
I found this app and expected it to be pretty bare bones since it was free but found it to actually have quite a few advanced options that make it very nice to use.

Bugs galore
I absolutely loved this app, but it has recently completely malfunctioned. I can no longer save versions of a chart within a single project, and a bunch of features (including the very useful drop down project colour palette) have disappeared. Sometimes I have the three dots (providing access to these features), but they appear and disappear for no apparent reason. My iPad is up to date, so I can’t fathom what is going wrong. I reached out to the developer a couple of months ago, but to no avail. I hate using the review process to try to resolve the problem, but I would LOVE to have this app back!

Changed my life
After a week learning how to use this app, I can’t remember how I wrote so many designs with pieces of graph paper, sometimes sticky taped together . I use this app for all my knitting and crochet, and actually really enjoy making new designs
No beginner instructions
I bought this app so I can create my own patterns for crochet, but it was very difficult to find symbols and buttons, and also when I wanted to change the color or the symbol, the button doesn't stay long enough it just goes away.
Is this app for pc? Because it is not working properly on my Ipad.

What is the best images size to create c2c crochet graphs from a image? If I can get this question answered I believe this app is completely worth the investment. I do believe it is missing a few desired features however it may be my lack of knowledge as well. I really wish I knew the ideal image type and size to use for the best experience. And I would love to be able to track the chart completion percentage.

Could be great but buggy
Great concept. Would have a lot of utility if it weren’t buggy and feel incomplete. Resizing symbols is only from the center and hard to align to other symbols. Some buttons don’t render and you just have to know they are there. Some charts will not print or save as an image. Other bugs make it frustrating to use sometimes. I hope these can be resolved. For the price, this should be a very polished app, but it’s not.
