It would be wonderful if you would routinely update your app cover photo along with the seasons. Every season and not just twice a year, which always occurs far later than the season’s onset. Get rid of some of the Democrats and watch how fast Vermont turns around. We need more people to vote them out of office because they’re not looking out for us. They’re looking out for themselves. I’ve been here all my life and Vermont has never ever been this bad until the Democrats took over. Clickbait masquerading as news items
I appreciate many things about WCAX, but scrolling down for news stories is risky due to the number of and formatting of clickbait stories.
I understand that advertising is necessary but couldn’t you give some indication about which stories are true news items?

Dear WCAX,
I am deleting this app because of the clickbait. Good journalism does not include the use of old stories to get readers. Today’s clickbait was a story from 2017 about an accident that happened during Addison Field Days. You folks can do better than this! I know the channel is careful with the televised offerings. It’s a respectable source of news. Frankly, the app is unreliable as a source of current VT events.
WCAX, get a grip! What you present matters in app or televised. The brand deserves a better effort!
To the curious, VT Digger is a great source of high quality, unbiased, timely reporting. Don’t bother with this app. Digger is completely free even via email. They are truly worthy of your reading attention.Show lessYKARaphael

If you’re going to require we look at the adds before even getting to your sight, please at least enable readers to click out of add. Most of the time I cannot get out of the add to read the news stories. Seems this defeats the purpose. A bit confused and annoyed…What the Heck in VT

Well, not sure if the link opening fix worked on this new update. It probably doesn’t since the app no longer opens. Between all the annoying ads and pop ups this news site is becoming more of a tabloid, littered with occasional news. It should be the opposite.G0TDIRT

Used to be half way decent, but all gone out the window now. Takes forever to open now, it also now shuts down any audio streaming I may have on, it never used to do that, the normal weather on the main screen now just goes to their weather app. And more times now than ever before the stories you click on to read do not open when asked to it takes repeated attempts now to get a story to open. In short I done with WCAX period. Much better station before grey tv took overShow lesssnakerep
Latest update ruined app
After the latest update the app takes forever to load pages, is not smooth when scrolling, and the rate the app option does not work. Until a new update comes out avoid this app.Ouisgi

This app is very frustrating to use, if you accidentally open one of the many “ads” below the actual news stories it’s nearly impossible to go back to the page where the articles are without having to get out if the app and then going back into it and sometimes that doesn’t always work! Also why did you change the Weather format? What was wrong with the old one, I was used to it and I liked the way it worked. The one that replaced it is an app that I’ve already downloaded from WCAX because I like to have the option of using either one or bothShow lessGailygirl65
