Cannot actually transfer to an SD card

Seriously? Jeppesen doesn’t have an IOS solution where a pilot can download new databases (without “Bad-Elf Wombat” which is an unknown and unavailable device)? As a pilot, we’re required to haul around a laptop? Wouldn’t it be REALLY easy to modify your app so the user can download the databases to a memory card? Up your game, Jeppesen.

USB C Support
It should be so easy to add support to II load the downloads to a USB drive. Please add support, no need Bad Elf anymore. Just like a computer does that, a mobile device should be able to do so.
Write directly to an SD Card
At one time the Bad Elf was necessary because iOS devices did not support external drives. However, iOS drives have now been supported for many years, you can buy a USB to SD dongle. It’s beyond me why after all of these years Jeppesen has not enabled write direct to SD card capability.

Worthless
Without the ability to download and transfer to an SD card via iPhone or iPad, this app is completely worthless.
Don’t waste your time
It really does not work. Shocking Jeppesen would even release this. What is “Bad elf Wombat?” No one knows. Zero support. Given the thousands of dollars for the charts, really shockingly bad.
What’s the Point?
If the APP would allow users to just simply use the Jeppesen adapter plugged into an Apple USB-C dongle this app would be useful.
Still can’t write directly to an SD card
As others have said his app can’t write directly to an sd card attached to an iPad. Seems like it should be an easy feature to add. The only thing this app supports is the Bad Elf Wombat. I reached out to them and they don’t have a manufacturer.
