Why does Apple allow (crashy) spamware like this into the AppStore? (!)

This app is just a totally bogus springboard to launch ads for other products. It does not contain any operational content about its purported subject matter (a dictionary of insurance terms).

As soon as the user dismisses the pop-up ads (which are automatically generated when it is launched without any option in the settings to override or an IAP to disable),, the app always / conveniently crashes as soon as any actual application-specific function is selected (thereby ‘coincidently’ forcing the user to relaunch & be represented with more full-screen adware!).

As any observer of the iOS UX will have noticed over the last 5 years or so, Apple needs to spend a lot of time in many different areas on QA(!) …

It is shocking after nearly a decade in the marketplace with an app stire that apple still can not devise a coherent metric to sort out all the many categories of garbage which still pollute the AppStore

(Spamware like this app is only one such example of a threadbare tool-chain; inter alia, there is the legion of template apps which remain the bane of the AppStore search UX …
(eg dozens of otherwise identical insurance broker apps all created from the same template, which apple allows to be presented as though they are somehow unique apps from separate vendors when in fact, they are are in reality all just agents for the same company —
(The long list of other bloated templateware across many other domains -which clog up the discovery UX- is as notorious as it is ubiquitous!).

Apple could substantially enhance the brand equity of the AppStore if it were to adopt a far more rigorous & stringent pruning of the all junkware that plagues the cloud UX (implementing a quota for crashy apps would be one amongst other useful metrics — I’m looking at you TEXTPLUS!).

Apple should spend more time cleaning house of the obvious transgressor apps from ‘app mills’ that are so blithely allowed to proliferate in AppStore than constantly creating grief for (or censorship of) legitimate apps from bona developers!

Bottom line:

Don’t install this app:
It is just a Potemkin Village for launching adware:
It contains no actual information about its topic.

Almost perfect

My just complain is that the ads are too obtrusive, if there is an option to eliminated them even paying a little I am willing to do it but the ads totally damage the beautiful of this app, otherwise very useful

Too many ads

Terminology wise it's great but every time you go to look up something it's trying to get you to download another app!!! I wish there was an ad free version
