Description of Jew Compass

Since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, prayer has replaced animal sacrifices. Through prayer a Jew pours out his heart to his Creator thanking Him for His many kindnesses and asking Him for help in his daily tasks. One of the main goals of prayer is to remember Jerusalem daily and ask for it to be rebuilt. That's why wherever a Jew finds himself he has to pray facing Jerusalem as "Jerusalem is the light of the whole world". Sometimes when we find ourselves in unfamiliar places or while travelling, it's unclear to us how exactly are we supposed to daven. That's when a comfortable application "Jew Compass" will come to help by determining exactly the accurate direction we need. It's our dream that this app will help many Jews to pray correctly and may we merit to see the rebuilding of Jerusalem speedily, in our days.

  • Love it But...

Love the accuracy but wish there was communication in English. Thank you.
  • Qibla!!!

Thank you so much!!!! Now my prayer is top tier because I gave the Holy City that Daniel(ﷺ) faced while in galut in Babylon. Baruch השם!!!!! Todah rabah for this app!!.
  • The Kotel???

Jews direct prayers towards the site of
The destroyed Bet Hamikdash in order to associate our prayers with the sacrificial system prior to the establishment of verbal prayer. We don’t pray towards the kotel! The kotel is a remnant of the retaining walls of the platform that once held the temple of Jerusalem.
