  • Disappointing

I consider myself pretty tech-savvy and have used several video and audio editing apps before. I could not figure out how to use the control buttons on here. They are not labeled. There is no tutorial. The help section is not helpful. I wasted a lot of time on this app today...only to scrap it and look for another.

  • Great! But small save problem.

The whole editor and trimmer is great, no problems with the recording and deleting recordings, but it won't let you save directly to the files app on iOS(I started using this on iOS12), but I don't really care, because you can download files onto the cloud.
    Overall great
  • Great + Free

I was looking for something to help my son memorize some lines of a song. This allows you to select a section, repeat it, slow it down, etc. Perfect. Plus it was free.
  • Useful but need improvements

Is useful and does what I need but is not comfortable and to convert to mp3 I have to pay. The interface is a bit messy, is empty and the things you use the most are hidden in a menu. I recommend that the most used things like erase, cut, copy, paste, undo, etc, be on the outside instead of being on the menu. Another thing that can be improved is that you can export to mp3 and the other formats that are in the pay version for free watching an ad.

  • Good App Some Issues

I experimented with the App on a simple short audio and made a few cuts in succession and it crashed several times, very annoying. All the controls are not easy to find, otherwise basic edits are simple and intuitive.
  • AirPods (Bluetooth) doesn’t work with this

I love the app and have done a bunch of quick edits on the go. That being said Bluetooth shuts down when the app opens. If you are using wireless speakers or headphones, you will be forced to either switched to wired headphones or use the phone, which dramatically decreases its usefulness. Maybe the next update will fix that. Here’s to hoping.

  • Great for a free app

It does what it says and it edits audio. I use it to EQ and compress my recordings of myself playing the guitar. For the fact that it’s a free app, it lets you touch up audio pretty well. Of course I would recommend using a good software on PC for anything serious. However, as far as a quick edit on IOS, this works well.

  • Does the things I need, and then some.

Was a bit disappointed I had to pay in order to save my edited MP3 files as MP3, but still worth it. I edit large files, and now I can do it on my iPad. Saving a file to my Dropbox seems cumbersome, unless I have not yet figured it out. Tried saving to iCloud (only choice) and then browsing to Dropbox in the app and moving the file, but got errors resulting in empty files. Finally found the file in iCloud and was able to save it to Dropbox from there. Needs better save options. Also would like to be able to adjust the volume of a selection. Otherwise, seems solid and simple to use.

  • Great to Prepare for New Podcast Launch

This app has been perfect for editing my podcast episodes. I had recordings in another recording app and I’ve had no problem transferring them. I am continuing to record in the other application, because the sound has less echo for some reason, but it’s so easy to access the files it doesn’t slow down the process. I highly recommend.

  • Good, needs polish

If you hit save but want to go back, there’s no way to skip it without restarting the app and reimporting.

There isn’t a way to simply remove the current file to avoid accidentally making changes to it.

Selecting something doesn’t appear to be an option after you’ve painstakingly set a star and end position. You must first select the entire clip and then go from there.

The start/end time can’t be manually edited. It all depends on how precisely you can drag things, which isn’t as granular/fine as you would hope.

Other than that, for a largely free app, this is great. Export to mp3 being paid is silly, given that AAC exists and might be better, and the former has lost its patent.
