As you may know, Revere is a passion project made by a very small team. This has certain trade-offs but other benefits, including full control over the spirit of the app – to build personal relationships over a lifetime. Your ideas and support are always appreciated. Here's what's new in this version. • Search for someone specific when importing from your contacts. • Dates of notes always show now. • Password Autofill for login works seamlessly on iOS. • "Remind me in 1h" counts from current time. • And some other small improvements Ideas, questions, or issues can be sent from the Settings screen in the app. All the best, Mark

**NEW** Recurring Reminders When life gets busy, months can go by before you realize you haven’t talked with someone you meant to stay in touch with. Setting reminders in a todo list app is an option but that gets cluttered quickly. Revere's recurring reminders are the perfect place, right next to your notes about a person. And as most of us are stuck at home, we have a chance to reconnect with old friends and acquaintances. Set a recurring reminder after a chat and make sure that much time never goes by. Note that reach out reminders are a Premium feature and require a Revere subscription. **NEW** Anniversaries There's now a dedicated place for the important dates in people's lives. You can also set reminders for them, just like birthdays. Some examples of things I’ve used them for: • Important milestones – like a wedding or big achievement, like buying a home or changing careers • Fun moments – like first time you saw a band together, or an epic road trip • Or more solemn things – like the day someone's parent passed away so you can reach out and see how they’re doing each year on that difficult day This update also includes a few fixes: • Fixed a visual glitch when using the swipe gesture to go back a screen • Fixed a crash when tapping the Note Inbox • The notification permission alert was showing when trying to save a note without a reminder Hope you and your families are ok and we all get through these strange times. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Have questions or need help with something else, just let us know. Reviews of Revere

  • Great App, Few Remarks

Wonderful application. I think it’s very modern layout and it is very useful for me remembering to care for and reach out to family and friends.

    A few suggestions:

If there was a way to link family members when you add them into a person. For example. If I were to add my mom as a new person and then under the section family members add in my sister, her daughter. If my sister is already in the database it would be great to have a link through that family member so then I can click on her and it pulls up my sister’s person page.

It would be wonderful to have subgroups. For instance, for my extended family, I could have a group called: Extended Family with a subgroup of cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. This would help navigate faster.

Lastly it would be super neat to have a few more additional categories when adding people. For example I use the note section to write down peoples “favorites” of something. If you have more categories when filling out people like, a section of music or movies and then I could fill in their favorite movie is this or that, that would be wonderful. Another category could be where are they living, where did they grow up, what school do they go to, etc.

Again, great app super helpful. Those are just a few suggestions that I think would be marvelous with the app you currently have.

    Thanks.

    Developer Response

These are all great suggestions and all but the subgroups are on my list. I’m also releasing a new version built on Apple’s newer systems which will speed up new feature building, so lots happening. Stay tuned and thanks for taking the time to review.
  • A way to help this app!

I absolutely love using the app revere. It helps me remember conversations and people I recently met. Yet as I input new and old people I know I have run into one issue. When we select how we know the people there could be many more ways like coaches, teachers, business interests and more. As an app developer I understand adding things may be difficult but I truly believe adding these little options could prove very beneficial for the app and your users experiences. Have a blessed day!

Hi Andrew, custom relationships are a very popular feature request and coming soon. Thanks for taking the time to review. ~ Mark
  • Expanded Relationship Options Needed; Great Otherwise

This app is great! There are some adjustments that are needed in the relationship options. Please add the following so that we can respect people’s identities and also select general terms rather than gender-specific terms when information is absent, such as “so and so colleague has a sibling called Alex and we haven’t any idea whether Alex is male or female (or non-binary), but we want to document this relationship accordingly in Revere.” Including these options would take this app from great to excellent. Please add the following relationship options: Parent Step-Parent Sibling Child Step-child Spouse Sibling-in-law Child-in-law Assistant Manager Teacher Instructor Other

Hi William, custom relationships are coming soon along with many more improvements. We're in the process of a big rebuild and modernization of Revere to unlock faster feature creation. Thanks for the review and stay tuned. ~ Mark
