  • Pay to win

As the title says this game is completely pay to win. i have played the game on and off since 2019 and have noticed little change to the pay to win system. Every game is a challenge battle against high level units. For a normal game my orca should be able to kill his pitbull with one strike. For me it takes 2. He can easily pull out a cheap card that wouldn’t normally work against my weak units and dominate the field.
This wouldn’t be a problem if the game didn’t make it this way. they can easily downgrade the units to be matched with me but whats the fun in that? Obviously the devs on this game have given up and i am going to be surprised if the servers are still running in a few years from nobody wanting to play this game anymore.
New players have no chance and i find myself often “going easy” on someone for being a low level and not wanting to completely ruin the fun.
Its a shame i cant review this game 5 stars because its my favorite mobile game out there, but until the devs stop this pay to win system i simply cannot.
  • This is just sad…

As a life long command and conquer fan it’s so depressing to see a once great game franchise and one of the first ones to launch the entire real time strategy genre reduced to this…an empty shell of its former glory. It seems that EA games is content to let this once great franchise be nothing more than a cash grab full of micro transactions and only the barest of gameplay that only vaguely resembles anything one could call “strategy”. The thing that really upsets me and other long time c&c fans is the fact that EA is putting all its time and effort in regards to developing c&c games into this exclusively rather than developing a new actual game for the PC. But I guess it costs more to create something of value rather than something that requires minimal effort to create and maintain with maximum return thanks to the micro transactions that even the red headed step child of the series c&c 4 didn’t have. Now is it better than the mobile game that preceded it? Yes. Yes it is by quite a bit actually. But me and other long time fans are worried that we may never see another main line triple a entry in the c&c or red alert franchises. I was hoping with the release of c&c remastered there would be some renewed interest in the series but at this point it seems that whatever renewed interest it created is not shared by EA itself…though I’d love to be proven wrong but I guess only time will tell…
  • Check your fight replay

The computer winsbeen playing this game off and on for about 2 years and I always check my fight replay to see what I did right and what I did wrong. I have noticed that the harvesters dig slower if your ahead in the fight. Giving the other side the opportunity to catch up and send soldiers or machines out quickly to balance the fight. The next thing I noticed is the number of power that accompanies the soldier or machine, it’s the number for strength. Like an 8 would not last long if your fighting a 10. But in some instances the lower number will for some reason have more strengthcheckc and blow a 10 away. Of course some reasons are a strong machine could kill a person no matter the strength number, but I have witnessed this to not always be the case. Another thing I noticed (because it happens to me a lot) are the challenges that come one after another when your getting closer to reaching a higher rank. It’s as though the system is trying to keep you from advancing. The harder it is to advance also has most players buying diamonds and money to upgrade there army, which could be the reason for keeping you from advancing. Don’t get me wrong there are some natural players out there that are the wizards of this game and have advanced in the ranks even though there army has low strength numbers. But I have noticed the difference’s and if you watch your replay videos, you will notice that this is happening.
