If You Like Tic-Tac-Toe...
This game is fine for mindless activity, but not for the development of skill and proficiency. The physics of the game are screwy and inconsistent.
I saw a review stating that whomever goes first has an advantage, but I find the opposite is true. It seems a lot of my opponents do t watch the wind indicator, which can change after each shot. Going second allows me to learn from my opponent’s shot.
Environmental factors have a powerful effect on the shot, but the game doesn’t allow for enough adjustment to the shot. If you are in a disadvantageous lie, you are typically at the mercy of the wind, bunker, etc. You can’t choose a different category of club to counter the conditions—just a different club in the same category.
Also, the ground conditions are inconsistent. When you are hitting into a bunker near a ledge, you expect the ball to stick like it normally does in other bunkers, but because of the adjacent hazard the ball bounces and rolls right out of the bunker. It’s like the game is coded to troll players and increase the probability of disastrous outcomes.
A good game allows for the development of skill based upon consistent and intuitive physics. This game lacks this potential. It is constructed more for childish enjoyment than competitive fun, yet it has an in-game economy only an adult can afford.
Should have probably been a 2-star rating, but the graphics are sleek and it can provide some mindless fun.

Fun..... for a few weeks
Been playing his game for a while now and loved it at first but I’m starting to get bored.
It seems very hard to progress past level 5 without spending money. Also if you lose a big money game you go right back to start. There does feel to be a bit of manipulation going on to try make you spend money.
I think I’ll delete it now as I’m bored of the same levels. With more levels and easier progress for those of us not wishing to spend silly money it would be better. I know they have to make money but it seems poor value and a little greedy.

Golf for fun
Is ok so far haven,t had to use real money yet.
More Options?
I agree with Yoshi8101.. the gems should be set the same for each player’s turn. The wind should be set the same for each player’s respective turns (turn 1 the wind is set the same for both players, turn 2 the wind can change but is still set the same for both player’s second turn, etc.) There should be a way that it is tracked for every game we play alternates whether we go first or the opponent goes first). And the different types of game scenery should change within that level, not playing the same scenery game after game, within that level. When you create a team, it would be nice to have a way to see the members active status so team leaders can easily see that information. I created a team, but have had to track number of games played by the team member to see if they are active or not (so I can kick off the inactive members from my team). And lastly, sandproof tees- if only those would be easily purchased at any time... take my money bruh!$

Fun game but at what cost?!
This game is a fun game but!!...not knowing when you’re going first or not absolutely kills your chances. I’ve gone on very short amount of winning streaks but gone on countless losing streaks! I have been stuck in the 6K section for weeks. Having there be a clear cut reasoning behind going first or second should be required.
Also, adding the ads into the game for no f$@@ing reason I’m between games?! Really, like your hundreds of thousands of players aren’t buying enough from you? I understand watch videos to gain EXTRA coins makes sense but MAKING me watch them just to continue playing? I cannot tell you how many times I’ve quit the game during a commercial just to come back in so I don’t have to watch it. An unwarranted commercial for just the use of the game at your large level seems pathetic. I expect it from flappy bird type of games but not from this caliber of game.
I had many fun months in this game but recently I’ve gotten so frustrated with this game that I am not planning on re-downloading it ever.

Fun but the worst game you will ever play
This game is fun, at first. Don’t be fooled, this is a slick way to get you to part with your hard earned. YOU CAN NOT WIN at higher levels and the system that places you against opponents is disgraceful. I played an opponent 800 higher than me today and guess what, I lost. I lost over 15 games in succession to higher opponents and my coins are gone. Opponents buy better clubs so they can win while those left to the prize boxes cannot win. I played for the last time today, this game was fun, but paying to win is a disgraceful business model.

Great game
Terrible server stability. Horrible customer support. I am an adult... I state this because I want you to know I’m not some spoiled kid who doesn’t understand that these games are made to benefit their creators. First the good. The game itself is well made has great graphics and is really fun to play. If it were not for the weak server and poor customer care I would give this game 5 stars. It seems that every time I gain some momentum and start to accumulate some coins I am miraculously disconnected and lose my coins. Never on the 200 coin game tho 🤔. Long story short I spent about 100 bucks and lost most of my coins to disconnection. I contact customer support and they tell me they don’t see an issue so it’s my problem and I should make sure that all my other apps are closed and I have a steady strong WiFi connection. That’s good advice. The issue is I stand in the same spot and the game works fine then out of nowhere I am disconnected. Still have full WiFi and 4 bars on my phone. Bottom line... I don’t have this problem on other games I play. End result... NO MORE MONEY FOR THIS DEVELOPER EVER!!! What a waste of a perfectly good game.

Pay to play
Great controls, nice level designs and boosters etc. Cannot fault it one bit on the game design; aside from coin system to play games. At a certain point it becomes a constant game of catch-up to get enough coins to play at higher levels where you could end up losing everything you saved up in one game. It just feels like the price per game jumps up too high between levels; and it feels like the only way to get a fulfilling experience would be to buy in game coins. Again, can't fault the game design, and developers have got to make money somehow: just felt like a sudden steep jump aimed to make you have to spend to keep playing.

Minigolf
Just started playing a couple of days ago but first thing I notice is no penalty for out of bounds. So if I play it relatively safe and the opponent takes a chance for more points and goes out, he just gets another chance and many times beats you. I’m not sure I agree that going first gives you advantage build new so don’t always know which way is best so try and observe what the other guy is doing . And I’m not sure I understand all the ramifications of this game but I’ll keep playing because so far it’s fun even though the last game I played, they put the opponent closer to the hole than he was and of course that helped him win so what’s up with That???so now it’s two weeks later and still playing. It’s fun but not always fair but neither is real golf
9/1/18 played three times today, once when I won and it said finish the connection was gone and I lost 20K, the second time same thing happened, this time I lost 6Kso I waited three hours and played again and again lost 6k because it said no connection. Odd I had internet on other apps. This game is fun and you have to accept things are not always going to go your way but losing 32 K for something you can’t control is stupid. Not sure I’ll keep playing

Take care as they cheat you!!
Be careful when deciding to make any game purchases as I have noticed that when you accumulate a pool of coins, the game starts to give advantage to your opponents by either letting them go first (which is a massive advantage as the person going first had a better chance of collecting more gems and these are used to determine a winner in the event of a tie, which happened frequently) and now noticing that I suddenly lose connection and cannot reconnect when about to win a game and when you complain they blame your internet connection even though I have instances where someone else is also playing mini golf on the same connection at the same time with no problems
