  • Could have been nice, but flawed.

This app has the potential to be a nice little craps game… Except for the fact it has several key flaws in my book for what is supposed to be a no-cost game.

1: it has a bug related to placing or laying odds. If you take odds more than two to one on a come bet when you try to roll the dice it will fail to roll fast enough for the time out and it will drop your odds. It never does this to me unless I go over that two to one threshold.

2: they have implemented an incessant timer of like 15 seconds for you to place your bets as if you were in the real casino and you had a dealer assisting you and placing the bets. It’s not as easy people on a little bitty screen on the phone to get all your bets placed out in just a few seconds if you’re playing a relatively complex strategy. I don’t want you to auto muck my play because I didn’t get all my bets down in time. This might be kind of realistic of the real deal but this is supposed to be a simulation or a game… If I wanted the real deal I would be at the tables.

    3. They don’t have any way implemented that I could find to leave your bets up when you win, or to keep your bets working when the porn is off. And they also don’t have a really nice clear way to mark what the point is. Instead of having an on/off puck they have what the point is in teeny weeny text over in the corner. Obviously designed by somebody much younger that doesn’t have to wear glasses.

There were also some times when I didn’t get paid on the bets which was very weird. They were also even sometimes when the computer did not collect money that I was supposed to lose. Like when I was betting on the don’t and I hit the point and it left my money on the line. I’m not sure how that works but it did it three times in a row until I put odds on that money and then it collected it right off the bat the next time I made the point. It appeared that if there were no odds placed it wouldn’t collect the money. Another bug.

Overall I would say I would really like to give it a better rating but it just has so many flaws.
