IOS auto-lok disable
It would be great if the developer would request to disable auto-lok for IOS so that I can run the camera all the time as a rear camera on my travel trailer while driving to assist with lane changing.crzo1001

Mounted ok, the antenna on the back in stead of the top makes it hard to mount. The app is ok. But why doesn’t the picture flip sideways like normal images on a iPhone?DVS1475

The key to this app is that it is designed to work once the phone is connected to the WiFi camera. The camera itself acts like a wireless WiFi. Comment the phone to that WiFi just like connecting to any other hotspot and then run the SWD app. Works great!Brian Toney
Stopped working
I have had this app with my camera for less than a year before it stopped working. Screen only shows white with no image when connected. Deleted app and reinstalled to try again...same problem. Camera powers up. Problem. Must be with app. What a waste of $$Fresh_phish

Doesn’t work with new iPhone XR. Nothing shows on phone when backing up though connected to wifi. Please update.HiTekHoney
Screen should stay on all the time when plugged in
I am pleased with the video images produced by this app. I use it on a trailer cam while driving to monitor my horse. The one frustration is that it times out after about a minute, with the screen going black. This means that I need to frequently wake the iPad up while driving. It should have a mode that allows it to remain always on when plugged in, like a map program.6 of 7

May yet be a 5 star rating. I haven’t used the camera’s night vision yet, so I can’t comment or rate on that. I’ve read that night vision is excellent. Set up was quite easy. Camera must first be wired to an active 12 volt supply. Tip: once “SWD camera” app is loaded onto the receiving device, make sure you go to “Settings” on that device and check for WiFi to be turned on, then wait for SWD to show up as a WiFi channel. Click on the SWD link there under WiFi, wait for indication that connection has been successful. Now you’re ready to open app on receiving device, and you’ll see it works instantly. Doesn’t work with LTE/Volte
After spending four days trying to troubleshoot my issue, I found out the App will only work if I have ONLY 4G and/or WiFi on. If you use LTE for your cellular service it won’t work unless you turn off the LTE. Not a very good App if it can’t accommodate updated technology!Stittsy
