15 lbs lost

I’ve used this app for several years and credit it with helping me lose 15 pounds. It has just the right amount of gamification.

Response from developer

Made me happy to hear that! Maintaining weight after dieting is an often overlooked part, although I think it's a critical one. I've thought a lot about how to best motivate users to maintain their target weight. So I'm really stoked that Scelta is helping you with that. :)

Not functioning properly

I’m about to dump this app. I can not input my weight on my watch.

Hard to see current (actual) weight

Would be great if your current actual weight stands out on the home page. It’s way too confusing.

Response from developer

Hey Bexstars, The idea of Scelta is to focus on the current average weight. This allows you to get a much more meaningful picture of where your weight is going by leveling out daily weight fluctuations due to salty food, sleep, sweating, etc. To see your current daily value of any other concrete value for any of the days just swipe across the graph. Best of luck for your weight journey, Joe

An amazing app

I’ve been using Scelta for a couple of years now and I think it’s an amazing app. Not only does it record and track your weight but it also incentivises your efforts to reach that elusive weight goal. There are three adherence report screens, 7, 14 and 30 days which you can use to see your progress over the short or longer term. There is also an overview screen with more detailed information.

However, all is not roses. The app is sadly lacking in two main areas; it won’t produce printed reports and it will not sync with other devices. I have it on my iPhone and on my iPad and I have to enter my daily data twice to achieve any sort of synchronisation at all. It is a paid app so there’s really no excuse for this lack of versatility.

Response from developer

Hey Michael, thank you very much for your kind words and the long time support of the app! Synchronization is tricky, because syncing Health data (which weight entries are) is theoretically not allowed by the iCloud usage terms. I'll see if there's still a way to do this with the newly introduced Core Data syncing functionality of iOS 13 and it's definitely something I have planned, although it might still take a bit with all the features I have planned for Treeceps at the moment. Printed reports is something that I'd love to add in the future as well, but it's also a feature that most users do not need (although I can see how it would benefit those who do need it very much). Thanks again for your review and I wish you nothing but the best on your weight journey with Scelta! Cheers, Joe

Thank you so much, Dacko! Best wishes, Joe

Watch and phone apps don’t sync

I logged all of my progress into the app on the phone, but the watch app shows no entries. I then added on on the watch app and then checked the phone app and saw that it didn’t sync over from the watch either. Basically 2 completely different apps that cannot work in unison.

Amazing

The best app ever and thanks for the new update!!!

Excellent.

Interesting to see the trends. I love it.
