Never forget an assignment again

This app can do what many other apps in this category can’t do, make an effective task management app but keep it simple. The software recognizes days and times so you don’t have spend much time clicking through tabs. Only downsides are the occasional glitches in sync between computer and phone, if you use the priorities system it covers up your at a glance due system, and the premium price is a little steep ($20 😬).

Honestly one of my most favorite apps

It’s like you took all of my ideas and complaints about other list apps and made me my own perfect app! I love watching the evolution of your program, the ease of functions and how customizable and shareable this app is. I am a daily user and I can’t recommend this enough.

So excited!

Finally!! A place ON MY PHONE to keep all those little to-do notes in organized categories - the ones that used to get lost in my brain or around my house! Now, they’re right here in my pocket and feels soooo good to click “CHECK”!!!

This is the best list app I’ve ever used

Very simple and to the point. No intrusive pop ups telling you how to use the app or subscribe or whatever, love the application of automatic icons, super easy to navigate. I’d say it’s worth the lifting purchase - it’s a well made app.

Awesome!

This is the app I’ve been looking for! I like the fact that I can have different categories with specific icons for each category. The only things I’d like to see is being able to choose a background for the main page and other pages so it can be really customized and maybe a more variety of icons such as a craft icon. Also notifications sounds that can be customized would be great too. I will definitely be purchasing this soon!

Thank you for your feedback! +1'd ideas on our wish list based on your feedback! Will be bringing new icons and customizable sounds in future app updates 👌🏻

Easy to use but has too many bugs

I use this app pretty often, but it's almost unusable because syncing between devices creates duplicates of lists and also randomly deletes them. Also, transferring a to-do item to another list doesn't work well. It saves a duplicate in the first list and then when you come back to it, it's gone but sometimes it reappears again.

I was trying to add a to-do reminder for appointment dates, but the app just deleted the entire list when I was in the middle of creating it. Now I have to recreate an entire list.

Overall, it's too buggy to be considered useful at this point.

Sorry for the trouble! Definitely sounds like an issue that needs to be investigated and fixed. Please drop us a message to hello@pocketlists.com with some details on your setup (i.e. your account PocketLists.com email address) so we can explore the server-side syncing logs and to see what could go wrong. Thank you.

Most Ridiculous App I’ve ever Seen

Pulls in random information from your other apps and puts them in “categories” that make no sense whatsoever. There are no user guides available so you’re on your own to figure out this absolute mess of an app. The predetermined “categories” force you to organize your random info in topics that make no sense and because the data it adds is scattered randomly it’s completely useless. Don’t pay for this app. Delete it and save yourself a huge headache.

A counter please.

From all those fancy todo list apps, this by far is my favorite one. It is minimal and beautiful. One thing it is missing is that it would be cool if you implement some sort of mechanism of showing TICK/MISS counter next to the todo items which would make it easy to count success and failures.

Looks decent but not worth subscription

Updated review 3/8/19

Received response from the developer which is appreciated. I did not notice the lifetime membership option under the subscription options (maybe because it’s a different color option). I just signed up for the trial and will see, if it works out, will definitely do the lifetime subscription.

Yet another developer pushing a subscription on us. We all know that Apple held those secret meetings where they told developers to push the subscription model on their users.

This will eventually blow up back on you guys. I guess that Apple thinks that since we can afford their phones, we must be ok with every app having a subscription model.

I am willing to pay a higher price up front for an app but definitely not a recurring subscription for every app that I have.

I am definitely not willing to pay a subscription for this app as it’s not worth it to me. This like other apps, does not need to be a subscription. You just lost a potential customer.

DELETED.

Thank you for your feedback! In Pocket Lists, there is a one-time Lifetime Purchase option which you can always choose instead of a subscription. Plus, the basic free version is robust enough to be used as the primary to-do list making app with no time and data limitations. We are working on making Pocket Lists a solid to-do list making platform, and thus selected the subscription model because it better fits our strategy in the long term run. We'll do our best to make everyone see that was the ultimate choice for Pocket Lists 🙌🏻

I have found the very best ToDo manager

I have used and tried no less than 6 current to do project manager apps and all of them have had something lacking. Pocket List by far is the best that I have found. It is easy yet so comprehensive and flexible. I have found that it gives me so much control over how I use it and gives me options to enable me to use it the way I want. I think this app will finally help me get my projects under control. My only issue is sometimes there is a lag when I tap on a selection and it takes a second or two to work. Great job.
