Still loving this app
I do underwater photography with my iPhone and find this an indispensable tool.
I love this app, and I recommend it to everybody who is shooting anything macro with their iPhone.
There’s still a lot of things I would like to see improved. More zoom in patch and better patch options! The pop-up zoom window when working on details doesn’t actually zoom in more than the main window. I’d like to see better line definitions, or way to highlight the lines when trying to patch. Apple Pencil integration, my fat fingers can only do so well with the current set up.
I realize it’s completely nich but better outlining and identification of sea creatures so that does a better job of mapping around fine hair like tentacles and fins (total corner cases).
When shooting with raw, it removes any configurations already applied in other applications when you open it and focus, I’d like a way to either preserve the other edits or better editing, and particularly tools for color balancing.
Color, brown blue and green waters specially within intense levels, such as in northern CA is an art form, So it’s frustrating to have to switch between so many apps to get it done… only to end up back to lose any of that work. Partly a workflow problem, but still frustrating.
I’d like to be able to build a few of my own preset filters so I can quickly apply effects the images that I use as a regular basis, such as brightness split back ground down 80%, hdr 10, contrast 10 etc.

Does a good job in most cases
There are instances that are too complex at this stage to pull it off with an older phone without LiDAR. I have IPhone X so smaller lines such as chain from a swing set get separated from the child’s hands and become blurred rven though the hand and the chain are in the same relative position in space. Overall it is a nice tool to have.
ADDENDUM: After I saw how mediocre the app was at selecting foreground from background on many photos, I stopped the app.
I upgraded my phone the 14Pro Max and the app is more accurate than when I first started using it. Now I use it most days of the week. It’s a good interface, is dependable and works very well since I upgraded my device.

No free version available after update
They used to have a free version with an option for a paid PRO account … after I updated my app, it got rid of it and now I can’t use it unless I pay weekly or yearly. It is a fully pay-for app now if you’re wondering!
Already paid the app but Focos decided to change for subscription and erase the fact that I paid
Hey Focos, what’s that about not recognizing that your customers already paid for the app and just think we will “forget it” and pay the subscription.
The option to restore my purchase does not work and prompts me to buy the subscription which I will not.
If this is a mistake I will be glad to edit my review, but if it’s not a mistake I will ask Apple or my credit card company for a refund :)

Money hungry
Was my favourite then became a money grab
SCAM!
What a scam of an app!!! They set it up as weekly payment because they’re banking on people forgetting to cancel after the free trial. I found this app was not worth what they’re charging so I cancelled immediately after I got the charge on my account and they wouldn’t give me my $25 back. Even after appealing the refund they still wouldn’t give it back. I used this app maybe once or twice and i’m out $25!! Such dishonest business practice!!

Now charges ridiculous amount for sub
This was an okay app at first. I initially downloaded it because I had an old iPhone which didn’t have the DoF ‘Portrait’ mode, and this app was a great substitute for that feature. But after I updated this last time, it now tries to coerce you into a subscription, with an obscene weekly fee! Of course it gives you the obligatory ‘free trial’ option, but once you agree to this, it will auto-trigger your subscription a month later.
My new iPhone has the aforementioned ‘Portrait’ mode and I no longer have the need for this. Even if my phone didn’t have Portrait mode I wouldn’t be using this app.
Absolutely daylight robbery and I really hope everyone else now turns their back on this app.

Typical free app scam.
Totally unusable unless you sign up for the free trail first, which will automatically start charging you a few days after you forgot all about the free trial.
Sad change in direction
This app used to be good and offered a lot. Now it’s a paid subscription weekly which is a terrible direction from the developers. They have essentially killed this app. Unless you pay weekly this will not be of any value to you. The developers have forgotten where they came from.
