This game changed my life. I have been inspired by my horsie character to live a long and prosperous life dedicated to this game. I have been playing nonstop for the past 34 hours and I am not stopping anytime soon. People would say I’m obsessed but I’m very dedicated because after I win all of the levels I’m planning on getting married to my horsie character. Download if you’re looking for a good time.
This game is sooo addicting, but something is wrong where i will use a snail for slow motion mode but it will use the snail without going slow motion (the snail will disappear but it will not slow down). I win a few more snails over time and then use one, but again it doesn’t work. Please resolve this problem. Other than that, this game is worth 5 stars!!
I finished pop odyssey but the unicorns that were supposed to be unlocked with my completion of pop odyssey weren't unlocked. good game otherwise, but very frustrating (the not unlocked unicorns, not the game). Also, when playing survival mode, it won't register my taps and my unicorn will just fall off the side even though i tapped and it just didn't register. it's so annoying!!
I’ve been playing this game a lot, and I enjoy it quite a bit. The only problem I have encountered was when playing before the newest unicorn additions, I got past Pop Odyssey level 35. I later updated the app and saw that there were new unicorns. I had already beaten level 35 of Pop Odyssey, so I wondered why I didn’t receive the ability to play as the unicorn unlocked for completing that level.
The game itself is a good idea and addictive, but the ads are just too much. Every 2 deaths (which can sometimes go by very quickly) there is an ad. I get it, it’s a free game so it needs ads, but it’s getting to be too much. Stuck on a level? Well be ready to watch 30 seconds of ads every 2 tries. Run 3 levels without dying? There’s an ad waiting for you. Another thing with the ads is some of them are inappropriate. This game is for ages 4 and up, but with the ads of kissing, making out and other things don’t seem to be very 4 year old friendly. I’m not sure the parents of a small child would want their child to be seeing those kinds of ads. My little sister loves to play this game but since I’ve been paying attention to the ads I can’t let her play it. Another thing about this game is that I find that my phone heats up very quickly and I don’t play on a bright screen. My battery runs out extremely quickly and the game glitches way too much. I am proud to say that I am deleting this game after I write this review. Really, fix the game.
Everything is amazing except the Space Opera Level. The skateboard or whatever they are using makes it harder and I die more easily and it gets stuck on things sometimes. It’s like a cheat it just makes me die more frequently, I think we should have an option if we want the skateboard or not. And I also feel like we should have a freestyle level where we can tap and it makes a beat to how we’re tapping and maybe adds a song to it? But it would be cool to have a level where we can just make our own or something a little similar.
I love the game and it only glitches every now and then, but there are WAY too many ads (they come too frequently after 4-5 deaths or after a long run of beating 2-4 levels without dying — so if you are struggling on a level- the ads can get really frustrating) And $3.99 to remove the ads is WAY too much. Most games it’s around $1.99 to remove ads, which I’d be more willing to pay. The only saving grace is you can watch ads to get a free snail to slow your unicorn down, and if you keep dying on a level the game will feel pity on you and give you a snail first and then if you still can’t pass the level, it will eventually give you a skip level. (which I prefer not to use either because I feel more accomplished if I finish the level on my own).
Overall, great app! There are just a few things that need improvement... sometimes the app glitches after an ad and the app doesn’t go in time with the music most of the time. Which is really frustrating when you have to get through very fast tempo songs and the unicorn can’t catch up. I’m a percussionist in a orchestra, which are the people who mainly keep the tempo...That’s why i’m critiquing it so much 😂 but i do understand that this app is most likely made for people who just like to listen to music
Oh where to begin with this. The game is fun, when it works right (which isn’t very often), I’ll give it that much. But this isn’t a game. This is advertisement after advertisement. If you play this expect an ad for every 30-40 seconds of gameplay. Having trouble on a section? Here’s an ad to waste your time and slow down your device to make it even harder! Had a good run? Here’s an ad! Also you might as well get rid of the “beat” part in the title, because you will switch from tapping to the melody, bass, beat, (insert musical term here). Listening to the music seems like it helps, when really it just confuses you due to the inconsistency of what you are tapping to. Don’t waste your time with a seemingly harmless game.
This game is great; it has very classical, recognizable music and it is very fun. I like games where you get to level up something or "evolve" it. So overall, the game is great, except maybe um… actually make the visual in time with the audio? I am and orchestra player, so whether I'm in band, orchestra or choir at school, we actually LISTEN to what we play. So this game would be so fun and I could actually get past some levels way more quickly if I could use my ears and tap when it's appropriate. I feel like the visual is for younger kids and other people who don't really pay attention to the music, as well as to aid the many who listen to it.
