Not a lot of experience with the app so far but my first track day it worked well between my friends and I. Would highly recommend and it’s free.
Works Great
I love this app for track days. I downloaded without much thought because I needed something quickly at the track and it has been simple and consistent.
Nice. Even nicer if CarPlay!

Very buggy lately
We are at track events already at 2 different places and the app would just not record the times or be extremely slow. If I was to guess its the servers that are not keeping up with the demand I Wouldn’t mind an AD here and there for better service and longevity of the app

Hard to navigate at first but once you get it down it’s great

Wouldn’t automatically start timing it would take a couple laps kinda weird situation to find your times besides that it’s really good
It half works
As of right now this app is pretty buggy. It does the essentials right but some of the Hotlap Plus features do not work. The OBD2 recording feature doesn’t work. The live delta time while recording a lap doesn’t work. These are two features that sold me on purchasing a Hotlap Plus subscription, but they won’t work.

Very useful for comparing to friends at the racetrack. Accurate times.
Won’t let me pick my car
I am driving a kit type car—unless I missed it, there is no “other” car to choose.
The closest thing is a Caterham, it won’t let me enter that either.
Maybe it is user error, but it should be easier.
Also, on the telemetry, the text/title covers then MPH at the far left of the graph—it is hard to read since it covers the value.
