The regional district uses the app to issue warnings about vehicle accidents, severe weather and other hazards. I like it a lot.

Earthquake
I woke up shortly after 4am in the morning to an abrupt shake to my bed and a bag outside. I thought there was wildlife or an intruder and checked outside the closest window were the outside noise was and found nothing. I could not fall back asleep after such a physical way to wake up and eventually grabbed my phone to check e-mails for work. I noticed that this app had a notification for an earthquake that took place nearby at the same time I felt the jolt. My phone is on ‘do not disturb’ so I did not see the alert until after the event however I’m grateful for peace of mind knowing what I felt.

Thank you for your review and rating! Did you know that within the Settings of the app you can turn on "Override Silent Mode"? This makes it so that all critical alerts can still play with a sound when your phone is in Do Not Disturb mode or if your phone volume is turned off.

This app is amazing it gives notices of closures on streets and municipal buildings. This app also gives information on employment opportunities. Thanks for creating an amazing app to use. It’s also easy to use
