-On the class selection screen (shown at startup when multiple classes, or after tapping 'selected class' text): I had to shrink the font size of the class text so that it could wrap to multiple lines. Technical details: The previous update used ".title" fonts which were larger, but don't support wrapping by default. By changing the font size to the smaller ".body" font word wrapping is automatically enabled.

-Main Menu "Selected Class" text shrunk to make more width for class name on smaller screens. Also, the height of the class selector was reduced slightly to allow the menu options to be slightly larger (benefits smaller screens). -Some menu options were re-arranged (different order). -For those times that the app is slower to load, the launch screen was slightly modified to fill the screen better. -For adding students, moved import button above instructions to add individual students -Fixed a bug with drag and drop in groups -Bug fixes and performance improvements, for example, resolved all 161 current version compiler "warnings" since last version.

Great!

Let’s face it, there aren’t too many seating chart apps out there. I’ve probably tried them all. As someone who has 500+ students a week, a seating chart app with pictures is crucial for my job. The downfall of this app is that visually, it isn’t the greatest when it comes to graphics appeal. It is a little wonky in the beginning trying to navigate all the menus and how to do certain things. However, once you get used to it, it’s all good. The app works perfectly and does everything I need for a music teacher needing something like this. BONUS points for the developer Robert who is quick to respond to emails and suggestions!!!

Thanks for the review & suggestions. I agree, visually the app could be more appealing, but I've been focusing on core functionality - I'm obviously not an artist :), however I recently replaced the main menu buttons' background images with AI generated artwork. -- other areas may get a similar updated look... Also, I'm going to pay attention to the "wonky" experience with setting up new classes and have already done one thing to simplify that (by hiding more confusing options on the seating chart menu until a seating chart is created) ... All your feedback has been received and may play a role in future improvements...

Some good features. Missing basic feature

This app has what I’ve been looking for in a class assist app- random group creation and random choosing of student. However it doesn’t have the option to just view the seating chart. You can see it to move students, to take attendance, to modify it, etc. But I just want to open a static view and see the seating chart. It seems like the most basic item was skipped.

Thanks for your reivew & feedback, I've listened and agreed that this will be useful. Versions 3.30 & 3.31 (build 301) add the requested "View Seating Chart" feature (check for updates). In 3.31 it was placed on the front page of the main menu (the earlier version had it on the second page). When I moved it to the front page, I bumped the "Delete This Class" option to the "More options..." page. UPDATE: v3.50 moves the View Seating Chart to the first option on the main menu, bumping "Manage Seating Chart" over so it's closer to the ohter class setup functions (near "Add Class"/"Class Details" and "Add Student"/"Edit Students").

Works ok. Needs some fixes

Works ok. Attendance is misspelled in the attendance window. Can you make it so the students fill the entire screen rather than just crunched up at the top? It would also be nice to change the backgrounds to our own liking.

Thank You For Your Review! Thanks for saying "Works ok," because my primary feedback is via reviews and it's good to hear it's "mostly working". I corrected the spelling where you noted it, and one additional place. I added custom background images for the seating chart screens. You'll now see an option to spread out seats (toggles on or off), also seats should otherwise be centered now. If you want to set other custom background images, update your review (or just e-mail me at the support e-mail) and if I see the comment, I will see what I can do.
