  • Waste of money!

I’m not one to write reviews, but this time i felt it was appropriate. This app does absolutely nothing to help taking pictures of your tank. I played around with all the different settings and options with no luck. I can get a better picture of my tank by crank up the white lights for a minute. Very disappointed.
  • Can’t use it to edit photos

Which is why I bought it. If it’s possible, it’s not intuitive.
  • Constant black screen

My screen stays black. Can’t even adjust the sliders bc you can’t see what you’re taking a pic of. You can snap a pic and view it after the fact but what’s the use of real time sliders if you can’t adjust them before you take the pic???? Going to find a way to get my money back. Complete trash.
  • Disappointing

Doesn’t work - I tried all kinds of settings. Picture is fuzzier with this app and just as blue as if I didn’t have it at all. Iphone 11. Waste of money entirely. I would ask for a refund but how? Don’t waste your time.
  • Not the best, go buy filter gels instead

It’s decent, hard to adjust since it’s not automatic
  • Not full resolution images

The application does what it is supposed to do. Adding gels, controlling the white balance and temperature are all great features but are all pretty much useless when you don’t get a high resolution image output.

The lack of being able to switch lenses (on newer iphones) and the lack of being able to export full resolution images reeeally make this app not useful to me.

It’d be nice to edit images in the camera roll, but I get how images are need to be processed before taking the photo, and if the image is not raw, some things aren’t editable.

It’s a shame, I really wanted to like this app, but it is going to get deleted from my phone.

    Developer Response

Thanks for the review and considered feedback. There’s nothing from a software perspective stopping the app from writing the photos for a higher resolution image. The reason they aren’t higher resolution currently was because when I cranked it up some phones started crashing / low stability as the device is interpreting the scene at a very high frame rate. The compromise is that the photos and videos taken currently are plenty resolution for social media posting. Not my words but there’s a very large beta group (700 and counting) that gave the thumbs up. That said, a number of devices now have the processing power to handle the higher end resolution and I’ll go through and do some more tests. Trust me when I say everyone wants more resolution whenever possible. The challenge there isn’t the time but ability to buy or barrow a bunch of high end iPhones. #allmymoneygorstocoral problems. I hadn’t considered writing in raw and will look into that more as a few users have requested an ability to edit a already taken photo. Changing lenses is on the table for sure. Rather than giving up and deleting the app, I’d suggest/appreciate/prefer you join the beta testing group on the website and any updates that are being prepped for store launch you’d get a chance to try out and weigh in. Thanks again for downloading and all the feedback!
  • Ehhhh

Bought this since it’s only 2.99. It helps, but very slightly. I’ll probably never use it again (only because I have a Polyp lab V2 kit). Just get a filtered lens.
  • Unbelievable

I thought it wouldn’t work.., it does.
Finally I can’t take photos with my cell phone when blue lights are on. It does the job , and does it well !
  • Captured pictures do not save correctly.

On the screen, i adjust the settings to the point in which i am happy with what I’m seeing. I take the picture, and each one is saved as if i was not
Using the app, no matter what i do the settings. Not To happy
  • So worth it

For 3$ it is so worth it wish I could show before and after pictures!! Give it a try.
