Lack of freedom
This app offers everything but the most important aspect of a palette app, CHOOSING THE PALETTES. You cannot choose the colors you want to display from your photo. Therefore, Palette Republic uses some weird sort of automated color recognition tool that doesn't give you any of the colors you desire from your photo. This essentially makes the app useless, as the colors you recieve are in no way, shape or form, the colors you desire. Until this is corrected, the app is considered atrocious.Show lessDerreck Cruz
What happened??
I used to use this app all the time, but the last update took away almost all of the free palettes, which is really disappointing.

I recently downloaded this app because I was shown the cool stuff and I was told it has a lot of free palettes but when I got it there is literally no choice of more then six palettes and I’m really disappointed I was so excited to use this but now I can’t bc I have limited access and I don’t want to pay 10 dollars just for some color palettes on my photos it makes me really sadShow lessstaerrynight133
Doesn’t work
I downloaded it and it didn’t even work. The screen was black and I even swiped the app up and closed it and restarted it.TheSahlt
Subscription is way over-priced!
I can’t figure out why the prices are so high. There’s nothing very special going on. Being able to export the palettes to Procreate would be useful.
One problem about making a palette from a photo: just because the colours exist in a photo doesn’t necessarily mean they go well together.fundypan

This app has so much to offer!
For one, the pallettes are beautiful and the app runs smoothly. The sample gallery looks nice and always provides inspiration which is great. My whole Instagram feed consists of photos with pallettes from this app, ever since January! The only thing I would recommend is more choices for the canvas pallettes with the white border, and a better implementation for tall vertical photos.Show lessNilesdavis520

Amazing, but needs improvements
From a person who looooves to edit, this app is wonderful. I find it pretty cool that you can add color palettes, and just to point it out there, this app isn’t for everyone. I noticed a review that claims that adding a color palette has no creativity, but to me, I find it, well creative! And a few notes for people who plan on getting this app. When you first get this app, you might/will get a screen that says to get the free trail, to use the app, exit the app and go back in it (make sure you take it out of the task manager). This is probably a glitch where there’s no button to say “no thanks” to the offer. Another one is if you don’t get premium, you only have one section of color palettes, I hope the person who owns this app would add more. Speaking of premium, I believe premium is way over priced, a tip for the developer is not to make premium monthly/yearly, but make it able to be bought it in one price (I understand there’s an option for it but it’s overpriced). The reason why I believe it’s over priced it because this app is only for one feature, color palettes. Professional editing apps are monthly/yearly paid for memberships is because it has a large amount of features to edit your photo. Anyway, this app has a few minor bugs and formatting issues, but I hope the developer will fix those bugs. Overall, like I said, it’s a great app, I use its edits in my Instagram (@22.charly) and it’s been good comments on it. I would highly recommend this to a friend or whoever has read this who does not have the app.Show lessxxiicharly
