There are hundreds of tips in the app specific for the type of fish and detailed situations... We use the latest HTML5 app technology with one of the fastest internal databases which does not require the internet as so many apps do. It is meant for the beginner and intermediate fisherman. When the "General' selection is given the resulting tip is usually good for more than one season, body of water, time of day, etc. We do have hundreds of valuable tips in the program for beginners and intermediate fisherman; it sounds like you are an advanced fisherman and yes the program would give you some tips, but not as many as you may already know. Its very useful for refreshing some well know situations even for experts and its not meant to cover all situations. Thank you for your interest.

There are quite a few suggestions for lures, bait, and tackle under the "Fish Info" section which is a different section than the main "Tips" section. They are specific for the type of fish. Thanks for the comment and using the program.
