Great game but pushes you to pay
I play this game a lot and I love it. It's so funny and the personalities of the other characters are loveable, drama filled and exciting. Bombshell and Stick Or Twist in particular have great writing and I could barely put the game down.
However, it is kind of ruined by how so many options for the story are just straight up hidden behind paywalls. Every hint at something interesting in the dialogue is just a lead-up for the player to spend gems to experience it. It's starting to outweigh the good things in this game for me - now in Tempting Fate, the one I'm currently playing, each scene has a paid option and half the dialogue in the scene is leading up to getting you to spend 17 gems to find out.
Another thing is, if you choose not to buy a different set of clothes, the characters will try to push you in to doing so multiple times. It gets really annoying when you're getting ready for a party scene for example and the other characters are going "are you sure?? You have so many other good looks!" "This sooo isn't you!" "Yeah this is [insert event here] don't you want to go all out?" It makes every outfit change scene dull as you have to tap through all this pointless dialogue.
It's not that I don't like the fact that there are paid options, but more so that there is SO much pressure from the game to partake in them. Everything else though is amazing, the character design, the plot, the drama. I can't wait for the new season to come out.
