Wildly Incorrect
No iPhone decibel reader is going to be that accurate, but this is absurdly wrong. Speaking in a soft voice registers as a “dangerous” reading.
I wish I had this forty years ago
Being old now, I am experiencing degraded hearing. If I had this app years ago, I might have made adjustments to the sound levels I was exposed to. A young persons hearing is a beautiful thing and should be preserved. Loud noise exposure degrades one’s hearing and robs you of the more delicate pleasures of sound.

Not a ripoff like the other app trying to get you to pay annual fee. This one works great and is free!
Didn’t do it for me.
Works as described, but I wanted to measure higher, 130+Db, and review various levels.
Couldn’t see how to alter maximum levels, or preview/save instances.
But that was just my requirements - otherwise works as described.
