Gone backwards
This used to be a great app but since update it bugs me every five minutes for notifications and no longer has facility to bookmark articles. Shame.Ally1938
August 2024 Version Steps Backwards
The writing in this paper is often interesting and different from what you read elsewhere, so it’s a shame the app stepped backward in the latest version.
The app used to allow you to easily toggle between general news and news by regions and topics, but that is gone.
It also had photos with each article, providing relief from the wall of text that is now more prevalent.
Worse, every time you open the app users now have to dismiss the notification alert.
National, please do better. Your content deserves a better app.Show lessArvadazrl

I want it to better
My favorite English paper in the UAE, but the website on mobile is better than the app. the app just seems like a smaller version of the website but the fonts are tiny and its just not appealing...it needs to be revamped for the mobile.smsalem_
