Check form evaluations are modified as per the latest regulations in IATA(International Air Transport Association) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA). In this version of MERAN, the flight deck crew check forms for Line Check, Operational Experience(OE), Qualifications etc are modified so as to comply with IOSA regulation. There are mandatory remarks specific to each check items rated either below average or poor. The Measuring items rated negative alone will be listed under Briefing & Debriefing section to add remarks against each negative rating respectively. Also, before an instructor submits the form, a preview of the overall form along with the ratings, final grade for the check pilot are shown to the instructor. Instructor once submit the form, can preview the summary check form as a report.

Check form evaluations are modified as per the latest regulations in IATA(International Air Transport Association) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA). In this version of MERAN, the flight deck crew check forms for Line Check, Operational Experience(OE), Qualifications etc are modified so as to comply with IOSA regulation. There are remarks specific to each check items, also strengths and weaknesses and overall recommendations etc are made as predefined set of values than free inputs from check pilots. Flight number will be removed from the check forms being the confidential data. However the historical data like flying hours, number of sectors covered by the trainee pilot etc will be displayed for setting the context very well for the check pilot.

To make the evaluation complying with IOSA standards and to be 'Evidence-Based Training'(EBT), a new feature has been added to the app. Whenever the trainee rated highest or next to the highest rating, the specific strengths of the trainee has to be mentioned against the particular check item. Similarly, whenever the trainee rated negatively, the specific weaknesses of the trainee has to be mentioned against the particular check item.

The evaluation process and rating the trainee pilot are simplified. Check airman have to apply all capability for the individual check items in the check forms and can change only those items which need special attention. This will save the time needed for filling the check form by a huge margin.
