Too Confusing

The “download free” offer seems to indicate all is free. So I ran the “restore purchases” command and now the highest level is paid for, so to speak.

BUT the app wants me to pay $2.79 for each of the first three levels before I can reach the highest level.

¿Gratis? Creo que non. También, quisiera un app como esto en español.

Thanks for your interest. We apologize for the confusion. What’s free today is the Expert Level of the game. You can start playing the game at any level and do not need to complete the lower levels in order to play the higher levels. We already have Frase Master for Spanish learners on the store. Stay tuned for more of our other games coming in Spanish as well as other languages soon. Thanks again.

Good idea, but some issues

This is generally quite good, but has a few major issues. There are several phrases which can only be solved by trial-and-error, because they make absolutely no sense. This can be incredibly frustrating, since they spoil a run of 70 or 80 correct answers by being impossible to solve and then you’ve lost your score. It’s just baffling that this required you to work out these phrases, but then you’re suddenly confronted with complete nonsense. Devs need to check that the phrases actually exist, and make sense, before including them in apps like this.

Thanks for playing and for your interest. The game is a word puzzle game to learn by unscrambling the sayings and proverbs. I assure you we have reviewed and are continually revising the contents of our games. We are so glad you are learning new sayings with the game. We learned a new saying or two in the process as well. What fun would it be if we all already knew all of them?

Too easy and questionable explanations

Even the "Professional" level is very easy, and the grammar is atrocious. Commas are not the way to separate clauses; semi-colons are in order. The explanations of the sayings are more opinion than accurate sayings.

I ought not to be seeing ads if I have the paid version of the app.

Thank you for playing and for your feedback. We apologize for the confusion. What's free until Monday is the in-app purchase for the full Professional Level without ads, not the entire game. The article states this at the bottom right. Have you claimed the free in-app purchase inside the Professional level? Once you get the free in-app purchase, that will disable ads on that level. Please let us know if we can be of help.

One usually cancels out the other, but not this app.

Am enjoying this app. I got it free but will happily pay for it if it will stop the ads. Had forgotten so many of the sayings and learnt a lot of new ones. Well done. UPDATE: purchased this app. Totally addicted. Well worth the money. Great service from the help line. Thank you Joel.

Free is not free

They offered what sounded like the game for free but once downloaded the free part is only a very small portion of the game. Don’t fall for it. Taking it off ASAP.

Annoying voice

It's an okay game but my god the voice telling me I did "fantabulous" (among other things) is REALLY annoying. Especially when it happens AFTER EVERY COMPLETED SENTENCE. If it was for every 10-in-a-row it would be way less annoying.
