RIP Bozo
Worst app for a set of headphones this company no longer supports. Shame. They used to be such a good company. Now they’re just like behringer. A waste of money and space.
Pretty good
Would be nice if I could get all my headphones into one app, but hopefully the Free BYRDs will transition into the newer app soon.
Pretty broken right now
The most recent update pretty much broke the app - lots of things don’t seem to be working as they should any more. With my Amiron Wireless headphones the app opens but without the personalisation level, and when you select the “Settings” button you often get the introduction/registration page rather than the “sound personalisation page”. You must restart the app to get past this. Also the intensity level of the sound personalisation isn’t saved in the app any more - you have to adjust each time you open the app. When working properly this is a useful asset for your headphones - but when it’s as badly broken as this it isn’t an asset at all - it’s a nuisance.

App simply crashes
App crashes immediately if the free byrds are paired.
Mostly does its job but could be a lot better
App is vital for the custom functionality of the headphones but it’s limited and buggy. For $600 headphones you’d really hope they’d put more care into the app that is absolutely necessary for using functions that are the selling point of the headphones. The app frequently forgets my sound profile or I have to turn it back on. Currently when I move the sound profile slider all the way to personalized, as soon as I exit the tab and return I find that it has reset to the (estimated) 80% default, so it appears that it’s just not possible to use full personalized sound which is the main reason I purchased these headphones. EQ options leave much to be desired. Battery percentage does not read accurately. Its a shame the vital features of these headphones are tied to exclusively to this app but I’m just thankful it works to the degree that it does.

EQ Setting Missing
The app does not have the EQ settings or option to do the hearing test for customization. Was this feature removed by the developer?
Good but…
I have to uninstall/reinstall any time I want it to work. They’re connected to my phone, playing music and working as they should but the app seems to disagree. Might return the headphones completely since I have to jump through hoops just to use them as intended.
No support for App
After the hearing test it tells me there is no internet connection on my iPhone. (iPhone is on wifi and data is turned on). So where do turn for help? Nowhere. Nothing. Nada. Nothing.
