Important: please read the "Known issues" section! - Coupled with new database release containing large amount of new species and added information - Added support for medium resolution image download which is enough for most users and saves up to 86% of storage space - Less restrictive access to locked species in free version - Many other improvements and fixes Known issues - We recommend a fresh app install otherwise you may experience a long freeze on first startup after an upgrade. - Any marked Favorites/Seen species get lost on this upgrade. Changes/Improvements: - Rewritten large parts of the database/image download service providing a better stability and improved speed including the possibility to cancel the download manually. We are sorry for the inconveniences caused by our previous (first) release! - Many updates/corrections/additions to the database itself - Updated “About” and “Literature” page to reflect the current database content Attention: Known Issues: - When saving your own “Favourites” or “Seen” species these will be reset on a potential database update. We are planning to release a fix for this issue soon.
