Told me I was looking due East when I was looking North. No metals or other objects near phone. Also said I was moving at 4Km/Hr while still!

the app uses the compass sensor built into the smartphone. In some cases, this sensor must be calibrated. The help for the app describes how to calibrate the compass. With a calibrated compass, the app has an inaccuracy of approx. +-5 degrees

I really like this compass. It show your current location and it was easy use it. I also like the graphic and looks. I strongly recommended to anyone that like to use compass for travel.

The app is based on the hardware compass sensors and gyroscope sensors built into the IPhone. These sensors are very!!!! precise and accurate. If the app is supposedly inaccurate, you need to calibrate the sensors (see help) or use a magnetic smartphone case, which negatively affects the compass.
