Broken chess mechanics

The pawn promotion is broken. When a pawn reaches the last row it keeps standing there. It makes the last level unplayable. Even when we managed to win it with this constraint, nothing happened. The game froze. Very underwhelming and inexcusable for +$15 price tag. The idea and the design are nice but the game overall feels unpolished and clunky.

Response from developer

Thank you very much for your feedback, Johnathan. Unfortunately, you are right that recently an error with pawn promotion has started to appear on some devices. This happens sometimes in connection with the release of new versions of IOS. The program consists of 18 standalone mini-games, each of which runs on its own engine. Unfortunately, we cannot completely eliminate the appearance of bugs. But we are trying to fix every bug asap and hope that by the 26.02.21 everything will work correctly on your device again. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and wish your kid a lot of fun with "Fritz and Chesster" in the future. Update: Bug is fixed

I want more!

Works exactly like the PC version I had for my kids. Perfect for children starting to learn how to play chess. One problem remains: WHEN IS FRITZ AND CHESSTER 2 being released?!? My son is done and wants more!

I cannot hear anything and I’d like a refund

I cannot hear anything from the app on my iPhone X. I would like a refund.

Response from developer

Dear William, If you can't hear any sound, please try the following: Unmute your device. If your device has a physical mute switch (like a switch on the side of your phone or tablet), unmute it by sliding the switch in the opposite direction and try again. If it doesn't have a physical mute switch, look for the 'unmute' option in your settings. Best Regards, Fritz&Chesster Team
