  • Great start, good effort

This is a really good start! I’m amazed at how much progress has been made towards in teaching children about mental health. So much so, that as an adult whose dealt with suicidal ideation & seen others go through it, I even found it useful. Parents, counselors, therapists, teachers, others; this is a great starting point for teaching kids, especially teens how to talk to each other about stress, anxiety, and suicide prevention. There’s a lot to be expanded on, & I think apps like this have a moral & ethical responsibility to ASAP update and share about privacy and data tracking and usage.

My BFF has depression and anxiety... sometimes she vents to me and I occasionally don’t know exactly how to respond. I feel like a bad friend. Everybody else she’s friends with doesn’t listen or is a fake friend that she holds onto because she wants real friends. I am her closest friend and I am a bad friend... She has told me occasionally that she considers suicide. I tell her, “If you were to commit suicide, I would be depressed. I would be anxious without you.” Stuff like that. But I feel like I’m not being a good enough friend... I feel like I’m not good enough in general. I want to fix everybody’s problems, or at least help, but I’m terrible at it. I’m not sure I’m even good at a single thing at all...Anyways, this app really has helped me understand how to help other people open up and help them get some help. I understand now how other people want somebody to listen. This app has really helped.
I just wish I knew how to open up, myself. But other people have their own problems. Mine shouldn’t concern them.
This app has really helped me be able to talk to other people. Thank you so much!

  • I dunno this is pretty cool

It’s kinda obscure and it’s really strange? The graphics and animation is kinda wonky but it adds to the experience
  • Give advice with a grain of salt

When helping a friend it’s better to give advice than not as long as you explain for example “if I was in your situation this is how I would respond and here is how it could help you” or “from my experience this is what I did it may not work the same for you so make just take it with a grain of salt”
That’s my only problem with this app other than that it’s an incredible app
