Aplicativo não reconhece o cartao de cidadao de nenhuma forma. O site portal das financas tambem nao funciona. Pra cidadoes quem vivem no exterior, este processo nao funciona.

Not receiving SMS Security Code
I’m no longer receiving the SMS security code on my US phone number. Last time I used it was in April 2024, and it worked then. But it hasn’t since early October.

It is a great idea, but the app is useless if you live abroad, like in the UK.
You do not get the sms message with the pin, doesn’t matter how many time you try.
Without the text with the pin you can’t use the app.

Need to renew my citizenship card so that I can then renew my passport as it’s nearly expiring and I can’t even book an appointment!! Might just have to go to Portugal and do it but it’s honestly a waste of money!!!

O site do governo diz explicitamente que um estrangeiro pode registar-se com a app atraves do passaporte ou da informacao do portal das financas. Mas a aplicacacao so functions com o cartao do Cidadao.
Doesn’t work
Between this app and the trying arrange an appointment at the consulate I think I have a better chance working out how the pyramids were built. Absolute rubbish!!!
