Description of REMAKE

Remake is a multi-band effect designed for rich and crisp sound. The input signal is split into 3 parts. Then resonances are added to the lows (under 100Hz) and at the same time two harmonic voices are added to the mid frequencies only. One unison voice and one on perfect fifth interval. These 2 voices have their own positions in the stereo. Then the original mids are mixed with the additional voices and the signal goes through warm and gentle overdrive/gain booster effect with gain control. The high frequencies of the sound are sent through slight vibrato effect. All these signals are finally mixed on the output to form the result sound. The effect can work as a stand alone app and as an audio unit AUV3 plug-in. Controls: - Bass Vibe - amount of resonances on the low frequencies - Mid Gain - gain on the midshipmen’s - Voices - level of the additional mid voices - Reverb This is my first multi-band effect and I made it on a music hack day at Vienna to demonstrate my audio technology.

BRUTAL ON BASS

I decided to take a chance on this for the asking price and first tried it on a drum track. yuk. then on electric slightly driven guitar. Pretty awful. then I put it on a synth bass. WOW! Now that’s more like it. it makes your bass sound like you are listen with your head in a bin and I mean dust bin not bass bin. really quite nasty in a good way. Adding mids and voices with reverb give it a dub style reverb a bit like a like spring reverb. Not something for the next Adele album but if you are into dirty sounding techno or drum and bass or maybe dubstep then for £1.99 I think you will be pleased to have found a bass mangler unlike anything else that I have ever heard. For that I give it five stars. SICK ,

What..

I don't get it. Appalling distortion no matter what I try..

Good app and a good price.

I bought this hoping it would be good and it is. I usually look on YouTube for demos before buying apps but there don’t seem to be any for this. It’s fairly versatile and works well as an AUv3 in AUM, but I haven’t tried it in Audiobus yet. I tried it with a variety of iOS synths and in conjunction with Kosmonaut (another good app) and got some very interesting sonic patterns so I’m more than happy.
