Changing my review with recent updates
Game used to mix ads well in with play, but lately there are more ads, half of which you can’t dismiss after the 5-second golden period, and many of which you need to run through multiple acknowledgements to get out of. This has turned a fun game with tolerable ads to a money-grab with a game thrown in. Too many ads with inaccessible fast-forward icons, and too many stretched out ads. I still play on occasion but have gotten really frustrated with the way the game is trending. Never mind the arrows doing little to no damage against an opponent and the quirky game play that has crept into the game… I’m close to calling it quits and finding something better.Show lessXyzzyBob
I Love this game!
This game is simple but challenging. I was laid up from a car accident and started playing this. Super cool graphics and animations when a character is defeated, multiple arenas that are not static so the length of the arena changes, lots of moving obstacles. You play against others, probably bots as well, and you can play against a friend. I haven’t enjoyed a game in a long time. Yes there are ads to get more stuff, but I put the phone on silent and run them while I’m doing something else. No biggie. I’ve only put money into one other game, and I did so once on this game because it was more entertaining than anything else while I was recuperating. Well worth it. I’ve got 60 million coins so I’m wondering if I can gift them to other? Programmers?
Update: the game is still as fun as ever, but some of these ads are way too long.
Also, the developers need to add more life and shields as our arrows get stronger. The upgrade to defense is not balanced with the offense anymore. A player can almost be taken out with two arrows.Show lessFM62
Great game and play a lot but starting to pull back
I love this game and try to play it all the time. It’s just fun. The only problems I have are the levels have stopped so a large motivator is no longer there. Working for other level ups but that is starting to lose my attention. The other issue is how selective it is with which arrows they let me upgrade. Certain arrows I receive tons of level ups, but the other half takes an absurd amount of ‘cards’ and they are extremely stingy with. It’s losing my attention and I wish it wasn’t. Oh yeah, the last updates drastically increased the ads, which is annoying. And it glitches a lot more, maybe because of the ads. I guess I had more that a couple challenges lol.
So if new to it, definitely get and play it. It will take a while for it to fade into the graveyard of ‘games I used to play’.Show lessHgB321
Great time kill, but maddening
The game is great to play, when you can actually play it. You’ll enjoy it undoubtedly. But the ads are ridiculous. I know I know, they all have ads. But the first problem I have is the length of the ads. They are so long, I can put the phone down and do something else during the ad. I bet the ads would get 10 times more affect if they were 75% shorter. I mean, the same three ads play over and over anyway. Second is when you are given the opportunity to earn a “legendary” award (that you have to earn 2000 of….one at a time) but the game says “no ads available at this time”??!!?? It’s laughable. Come on developers, do you think we are all idiots? We are already giving you a pass on the bots we have to play against half the time.Show lessBroke ninja
Like the game
Very nice game… play every day! A couple of things I still don’t understand: (1) Lazer does not become available until after I have used several arrows (2) Sometimes when the Fire Bomb hits an obstacle… it still hits Player
Too many bugs are showing up, with no answer from Developers! Love the game, keep getting killed and not even hit… Fire is ridiculous!

Fun game
Just got the game today and I can confidently say I’m having a lot of fun. Mobile games these days don’t quite have the feeling they used to but this one really brings back the feeling of all the old games I used to play. It definitely has room for improvement though. More equipment, more customization, just more variety to the gameplay itself. Very fun! Wish you could re-challenge players
This is a fun game! It’s challenging and has several stages you get to play at random. A variety of arrows that are upgradable and have unique ways to inflect damage. You can customize your character and win chests and diamonds to buy chests, that contain comments and accessories. My only issue is you can’t re-challange a player you just played. I see this changing with upgrades to the app but for now it’s annoying to not challenge someone that beat you and just have to move on.

Game Seems to be Hijacked by 3rd Party Mods
Devs: Exactly what power up enables an enemy archer to completely overshoot me over my head and still score full damage points as if you nailed me? -AND- Exactly what power up enables an enemy archer to completely undershoot me sticking his arrow in the wall of the between us and still score full damage points as if he hit me head on? -PLUS- Exactly What power up?(s) prevent me from scoring more than one single damage point on my enemies when I shoot them in the feet in the head and in the shield with normal cactus and flaming arrows? Exactly where is it written so that I may read and understand the subtle nuances of scoring in this game, and why it seems like I’m playing with dudes with hacks. This game has grown old in one night, getting defeated by the enemy’s one arrow, two arrows, or at the most three arrows, but missing every single one of them, especially when I’ve land mine. And one single night this game, although it looks nice, has become a bottomless well of frustration. I truly wish that those who use hacks and cheats in anything not just video games will die tomorrow from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma or car wrecks because they’re worthless people.Show lessThe Big Daddy Jay

Fun game
Where are the instructions that explain how to add more of a certain arrow to your quiver. This is a fun game and addictive. I like the use of wind it changes game play nicely. The only thing i could slam is the adversary isn't always a fair match and should be corrected if possible. If not then make a way you can get/purchase more arrows. Some of the players i go up against have many more arrows of each kind than I not to mention more arrows of different types. When dueling against these String Fellows and run out of ammo Im dead.
