My first review, and for good reason
Shepard was the type of character I always find myself loving- dorky, but smart- and someone who’s determined to do good for the world. Somewhat an optimist. His dorky charisma (if you could consider it such) absolutely touched me, and I found myself stressing so not to make any wrong choices first try, despite knowing I could rewind. I, of course, will not spoil anything, but his story is one that is absolutely riveting.
Berkut could not be farther from this. A merc, our for money and adrenaline- working on the literal OPPOSITE side of the conflict that had captured my heart in the original.
Yet somehow, I found myself feeling worried, nervous, even admiring the man. His macho, more action based personality contracting with Shepard’s more timid and nervous one gives me both a fresh take on the situation at the bunker and also a memorable story.
And you can already bet I’m downloading the third part as I type this.
