It would be great

It would be great but it won’t even open, the first time it crashed immediately and I deleted and reinstalled it but now it just straight up won’t load?

Love the idea but the app won’t even open

This would be really helpful to have but it won’t even open for me. The app crashes before anything ever loads. This happens repeatedly with no end in sight.

Won’t open

Whenever I open the app, I get about half a second of a loading screen, then it immediately crashes.

Won’t start

Had high hopes for the app but it never starts, just loads.

Glitched

I actually love the app, but it’s glitches on me. I can’t open the app on my new phone (iPhone 12 mini). It worked on my old phone, and now it either won’t load or closes the instant it opens. The app itself is good. It’s extremely nice to have it organized by character. I enjoy the app just wish I could use it. Otherwise 5 stars.

Great app

This is a wonderful addition to my character sheet keeping track of items and so many things that normally need to be erased and rewritten. However, I would love to see two or more sorting options. I would also love to see it with all the currency options as there is no electrum in the currency tracking. Otherwise I love the app and the idea of the cloud save to enable giving items in your group. 5/5

Great but no option to sort

I really like this app, since it has preexisting items to add that have all of the information along with a place for keeping track of money and gold.

However, I would love to see a feature to sort my inventory as I wish , and it also sort randomly - not alphabetically - when you create a new inventory space (bag, pouch, pocket, etc.)

Wonderful tool and four out of five stars due to only no sorting function.

Simple and Organized

Great app, but would like to see editable icons for the inventory boxes. Like Coats and different types of bags. Other than that, has everything I was expecting.

Good Start

This is a good start for an encumbrance tracking app. The most important missing feature is a native iPad app. Using an iPhone app blown up for the iPad is suboptimal.

Another missing feature is a read out of how much weight in coins you have, not just the amount of coins and adding this to the total encumbrance (maybe I just missed this feature).

One problem I have is it is calculating my total encumbrance as 10 pounds less than the actual weight (not including coinage which it isn’t counting at all). Each individual container is tallied correctly, but they aren’t added up together correctly.

Love the App, but a few bugs and features missing

First off the design of this app is really slick and easy!

I love the multi-character support as a GM.

The bug:
When I try to add a non-pre-made item...editing the quantity will trigger a “this will make this container over capacity” warning, even though there should be a few spare pounds remaining with the adjustment. I imagine it’s not deleting the old value and just adding in the increased value to the old one? Just a hunch!

Feature request:
I homebrew a lot of items, so adding in a way to save frequently used homebrew items would be awesome! I didn’t see this feature in there and it would be a lifesaver!

Keep up the great work, I know this app has amazing potential! Thanks for everything!

Response from developer

Hey bloodnashes666! Thanks a ton for this review, big ups for including the bug report. I haven't found the time to work on a new update for Encumbrance for D&D yet, but when I do I'll include both of your requested changes for sure. Thanks again for using the app!
