Hate it
I absolutely hate this app. It it cluttered, contains way too many videos, and is filled with way too many ads - especially the annoying pop up ads. Oftentimes when I’m just trying to read a story, I inadvertently click on a pop up ad. It’s truly maddening, and has resulted in me turning to competitors‘ apps to read the local news. I used to live in Northern Virginia and loved the NBC4 DC app - still use that one today. PLEASE take some pointers from that app to see how it SHOULD be done. If the 12OnYourSide app is not improved soon, I will likely just delete it altogether.

Ads galore
Are you guys hard up for money or greedy, I have never watch so many adds on an app. I just want to read the news or watch a quick segment of the news. NBC 12 went from my go to for local news to deleted.
Notifications
I don’t like that I can’t get the notification off the app when I viewed it. Will not go away. Would appreciate any info to get it to go away. Thanks.

12 On Your Side upgrade to the App was not well thought out. Not user friendly; bad experience!
Ads on top of ads
Now you have to close an ad to even view the app. First it was the weather with ads, now this. I’m officially done with news12.
Loyal viewer
I prefer the old app. This is geared towards ads and is not easy to navigate. You really messed up something that was good. Now you have to fight the ads to get to the app. Poorly done.
Change not needed
This update on the app is horrible! I can’t find anything and can’t find where I delete items I have read. I probably will give up the app and use one of the other news channels. Your app is no longer of use because of the difficulty to use.

Please delete video autoplay embedded in articles
Please delete the auto-play for videos that are embedded in unrelated articles I’m trying to read. Even when phone is in silent mode they play with sound on, making it impossible to read the article, and disrupting anyone near me.

The app for iPhone doesn’t scale the type for readability. You have to scroll sideways to read enlarged type
WWBT12 app
When I tap on the app icon it opens and then IMMEDIATELY CLOSES!!!!! Can’t read anything!!!!

No more ads
I used to love the app and news notifications. Now, when clicking on notifications or opening the app, I’m forced to watch an ad first. No thanks! Our local cbs and abc apps don’t require that. I’m deleting this app. My local NBC weather app is no better, it crashes half of the time, I’m deleting them both.

Channel 12 is always accurate on the news they report on I have been watching Channel 12 since I was 55 years old would not change it for nothing. Thank you all for what you do.
Threatening ads
Why do you allow ads announcing my iPhone is “infected” which suggest installing a malware/phishing app? Does Gray not understand it’s a privilege to have their news apps on the App store?
