What have you done?
If 13 Action News thinks this is an improvement to their online news service it is NOT. I have found it to be all advertising and difficult to navigate. I am sorry to say that you have lost me as a reader.
All ads now
I don't need to see that Rain Wilson is coming to BG every time I switch articles & I don't need to watch 30sec ad videos before every new article, especially for heavy machinery I'll never use. This app has become useless. Used to be my go to but now I'm deleting. Your new developer stinks.
Missing notifications
Notification symbol shows on home page but when I open app there is no notification present to read.
Too many ads now
I used to love your app, but the amount of ads woven through the actual news content is ridiculous. You don’t know if you’re clicking on actual news or an ad. Just a horrible app now.
Stop automatic video play
I would rather read the article than to have the video start playing immediately. Then having to manually stop it from playing is very inconvenient.
New app not user-friendly!
Have to watch commercials before every single 30 minute news clip, half the time I click on a news story I want to hear about it's not even what I was looking for and a completely different story! Very displeased with the new app to the point where I'm gonna be checking out channel 11.

This update is awful! It’s hard to read and looks very generic. Thinking of uninstalling it.
No privacy and too many ads
A recent update has eliminated the ability opt out of personalized data tracking which is completely unacceptable for me. Additionally, the app requires you to watch a video ad to open the app and another video ad when you open a story. I will be deleting the app and watching WTOL instead.
Opening screen ads now?
As if it wasn’t bad enough that all of your articles are flooded with advertisements, now we have to sit through opening advertisements when we open the app too?

New update is frustrating
The app was recently updated with a bunch of ads. It is now hard to read the news without accidentally clicking on the unwanted ad.
Bring back the old app
I do not like this app, I will be deleting it. Sorry 13ABC - you dropped the ball on this one.

What has happened
I’m finding this version of your APP unusable. I used the prior format since 2020. Had no problems. Now nothing but pop up ADS that cover and interrupt the text/video of the story. I can’t delete the alert notifications even after turning it off. This APP is terrible. I’m deleting it.
Review
This app has gotten worst with all of the ads. I push on the app to see the news and now I receive some game advertisements.

This just got worse with new update. The app always shows a new breaking news alert. Which is false.
I’ll start getting my news with WTOL 11.
They don’t have the annoying ads and are not as liberal!
