Creative, beautifully made series
I love the entire Dark Realm series because the developers have really made an effort to create an immersive world. I appreciate their creativity and attention to small details, such as characters breaking the 4th wall and manipulating parts of my screen or the game controls; I also love it when I attempt to use an object in a scene and can watch my attempt play out and fail (instead of nothing happening at all). These details are above and beyond what I’ve seen in other hidden-object games and show the thoughtfulness of the developers. What’s more, I feel invested in the characters due to the continuity throughout the series (and great voice actors). Yes, I occasionally skip puzzles, but they’re supposed to be challenging—that’s the point—and I’m grateful for custom settings so I can choose to skip or not as I like. If you want an experience that’s more than the usual click-click-clicking, I highly recommend the Dark Realm series.Show lessHawaiianCC
Update didn’t fix problem
Sadly I can’t get past the terrace scene. The screen won’t go over to the table so I can place the gears. Super disappointed because I uncharacteristicly bought the game before trying it based on the the rating and the fact it was on sale. I think I would have enjoyed it, but I got a whopping 10 minutes of game play. I tried closing all 3 apps I had open, and rebooted my iPad but still having the same problem. Perhaps I will try it again if the put out another update that actually fixes the problem they claim to have already fixedShow lessLorax6

I’m at the point in the well where I need to use the bucket to get water but when I go down there, my item bar disappears 😩 is this a glitch?Holy Shatner!

I was enjoying this game until after going down the well at the dam my inventory disappeared so was unable to use the bucket to get the water and couldn't continue. Luckily this happened early in the game so hadn't unlocked it yet, otherwise I'd really have been p....... off!! 😡Vodka6vic

Rather poor
Had problems moving on to the next stage at the beginning, a case of keep going to the map and back again. After a few attempts the game then moved on. Some of the mini puzzles when requiring to pick up an item to move it or place it failed to happen. It needed several attempts to get items to move. Seems to be glitches that should be sorted but doubt it. Luckily purchased at reduced price otherwise I would be asking for my money back.Show lesspatypuzzler51
Excellent!
Loved this game. I’ve played a lot of BFG apps, and this was one of the best games I’ve played so far. The graphics were excellent, and the gameplay was extremely varied. The games were a little bit easy, but it’s nice to not have to struggle constantly. Just an enjoyable game to relax after a long day! I would highly recommend it!Show lessAFath20160120
