Works but tone sound lags

It’s Ok but when using touch to tap out the letters, there’s some lag between touching the screen and the tone sound playing. Eg holding the screen to get a dah you dont hear the dah until you let go. The tone should play WHEN I’m touching the screen not when I lift off. It’s so difficult to get the natural rhythmic sound of letters tapped out and they just sound horrible. Why not just make it so when the screen is touched, a tone is generated? Why have this delayed, predefined length tone that plays AFTER you lift your finger off the screen?

Also to those saying it only does the letter A... You need to get an attention span. It does the letter A several times in a row and then does the letter B etc. Then it mixes the letters you’ve just learned and it randomises them to test you.

Great little app for learning!

The first thing I want to say is directed at those reviewers who claimed that the app only shows you 'A' and that's it. You simply didn't give it enough of a chance. It gets you typing the same letter over and over so you become more comfortable with doing it - that's how the training works.

To everyone else: in less than 60 minutes I've gone from knowing nothing to being pretty confident knowing every single letter. It teaches you in groups of 3 - getting you to repeat those letters over and over. After you get past those, it moves on to the next 3 while throwing back to previous letters you've learnt.

Great app and well worth a bit of your time.

Don’t waste your time

The app opens with a and it doesn’t show u anything

Too loud

The tone is too loud and you are not able to adjust it...

And btw you can go pass A! Each letter needs to be practiced for a couple times before it goes to the next one.

Doesn't go past A

Might be a glitch that needs to be fixed, but the others are right it doesn't go past A

Trainer? Nope.

A - C is all you get. It’s just an ad for their paid app. Shareware but without the functionality.

It DOES go past A

This app uses repetition to teach Morse code, so if other reviewers had stuck with it, they would learn that it does continue for the whole alphabet. Very useful app.

Great app, learned morse in about a week but no good for paddle/Iambic keys

I’ve been using this app intensively for around a week and I reckon that I can now instinctively tap out most within 1.5sec of seeing the letter. So it worked for me!

...but...and there’s a big but. When trying to change to a paddle/iambic key, the dot and dash are the reverse of the “standard” dot should be the thumb and dash should be the finger. Fed back to the developers but nothing has changed yet.

It also does not train numbers or punctuation marks...either that or I’ve not got there yet.

So it’s good app, but there is room for improvement.

Fix the buttons

I gave it one star because the buttons don’t register until you lift your finger, opposite what a Morse code Keyer does. Go into interface builder and change the uievent for the buttons from touch up inside to touch down then update the app and I’ll give it 5 stars.

Only one letter

Sucks
