Okay, second attempt. This time it’s more serious. In this update, for now, there are only fixes and internal improvements. It’s part of the preparation to show you something interesting. Stay tuned!

Long time no see! No new features here, but minus one strange bug that recently appeared almost by itself out of nowhere. By the way, if you notice any other bugs, let us know about them: support@hourly-app.com see ya!

Privet, tovarisch! Here in Russia, we have a subbotnik. It’s a special time when we all gather ‘round and clean everything on our way. So it is a subbotnik update of Hourly. There are no new features, just polishing pixels and swiping bugs out. Bug fixing and performance improvement are very important (otherwise why would it all be mentioned in almost every update on this page?). But this stuff is not so exciting as the previous update. What do you think about break reminders? Have you tried it yet? If so — tell us how it was! We’ve got some one-star and some five-star ratings since the last update, but no reviews except a spam message and another one from a person who decided to delete the app because of the subscription (not judging). So we’re here for your reviews, ideas, and suggestions.

Yeah, we know, it was a long break since the last update. But this update is all about breaks. We’ve done what so many of you asked for and now you can set a reminder to take a moment for yourself. So, how it works (really simple, actually): 1. go to a task and set a period after which you want to take a break. 2. as the time passes, Hourly will send you a notification. 3. take a break (pause the task) or keep working, and you’ll get another notification after the same period of time. But that’s not all! With this update, we present you super-duper-mega Hourly Pro. It’s like regular super-duper-mega Hourly, but more. Speaking about breaks, without Hourly Pro you can set a break reminder for every 30 or 60 minutes (most common timeboxes for a working day). But if you subscribe to Hourly Pro, you can set any interval you want. An important thing about Hourly Pro: it gives you more control, not more features. Of course, we will add many other things to Hourly Pro. And without subscription Hourly will remain as useful as always. Subscribe if you need to (or if you want to support us), or don’t subscribe — that’s ok. And do not forget to take breaks, guys. It’s important. Especially now. One more thing! Now you can export the history of your tasks. Helpful thing if you need to send a work report to someone, or to make a cool chart for your work stats. Some day we’ll add such charts right to Hourly ;–) See ya!

And I oop! “Description or link” is (finally!) unlocked for your tasks. A very useful thing for making quick notes and adding related links. P. S. Last update we told you about launching Hourly on ProductHunt. The results are great: Hourly was featured as a Product of the day #2, we received tons of feedback (that’s what we like more than anything), and lots of new people started using Hourly. Celebrate with us, ‘cause you’re awesome! Right now we’re working on a reminder and a widget, so you won’t forget to take breaks and to pause tasks during the breaks. Sksksk!

Hey there! It’s Mikael, a designer of Hourly. First of all, sorry about the recent silence. This update is mostly about polishing—animations, bugs removing, reducing app size. Not much, yes, but we’re preparing some great features and we want them to be perfect. It takes time. Second, thanks a lot for your reviews and suggestions! It is really helpful and encouraging for our team and it makes Hourly straight fire. Third (last one), I’d like to share with you that we’re launching Hourly on ProductHunt. Please find and support us there on May 6. I believe that your story about working with Hourly will be useful for ProductHunt community. That’s all for now. Toodle-oo!

New year! New feature! Once Hourly updated you can switch the counter’s format from decimal hours to hours and minutes. To do so just tap on the time in the task. Tap on it again anytime you need to change the format back to decimal hours. We’ll appreciate your review here in the App Store. Let us know what you like about Hourly and how we can make it more useful for you. Also if you have any questions drop us a line: support@hourly-app.com.

Wubba lubba dub dub! This time we’ve added one-but-huge feature – an ability to edit a task history. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that you need to pause the counter or to create a task before jumping into work. It’s not a problem anymore: correct the length of past records or add new ones any time after the work has been started. See you next update!

Hi all! This is our first update, yay! Thanks for your warm welcome and helpful feedback – it was awesome! So... What you can do with this update: – Resume a finished task. Go to the red box, tap on a finished task, then tap “resume” and work with that task again. – Delete a finished task. Same as resume, but opposite. – Rename a finished task (like after the job had been done you finally realized what exactly you had been working on). – See task history. Now it’s visible when you started, how much times you paused and started again, and when you finished a task. History editing coming soon. And: – We brought back the results of the past month. Sorry about their disappearance. Also: – Bug fixes and performance improvements (I always wanted to say that). Keep us posted on what you like in and want from Hourly!

Brilliant Job Task Timer App

This is the most Brilliant Job Task Timer App, I have seen. Most apps out there are too complicated and have too many features. - This App nails it on the head 100% exactly. KISS Principle, Keep It Simple Stupid. Do you have a Professional Version of this for me to buy ? I want it. Am Down Under in Australia in Cashmere, Brisbane. Sitting in my happy chair studying this App & watching 2 Male Koalas in the bush on my property have a deep & meaningful discussion on which gets to take the lady Koala, on the branch above, on a date. Well, that is the very polite version of what really is happening. arkkkk ! Koala Mating season is starting a bit early. Cheers, Stephen, Down Under - Brilliant, Simple to Use App.

Response from developer

Gosh, I'm smiling as I write this response :-) Thank you for writing, it's really touching. Special thanks for the story about the koalas! And yes, we have a subscription. You can activate it, for example, through the 'reminder' section in the task, because as it's one of the premium features. Thanks again!

gorgeous design and super motivational

My favourite time tracker! Love the strong minimal design, and finishing a task is super satisfying with the motivational celebration screen. Also really love that it’s very stable, doesn’t crash, and changing up what I’m working on and tracking is super quick and easy.

Response from developer

Thaaaank you very much!
