Apple should include an app like this automatically
I find it amazing that the simplest file format, .txt, cannot be edited out of the box on iOS. Finally a developer came along with enough sense to realize that a notepad style app is a must, and created one. This program just works, no chicanery, no craziness, for this simple basic function. I stumbled upon this editor and it solved my problem of finding a simple, free program to create and edit text files. The only flaw is that it doesn't open up in the share sheet, but that's not a big deal for me.
It uses the "Files" app approach to work on any cloud drive you have added to your iPad.Show less
