  • I like it but reset button needs to be bigger

I count per hole and reset it after each so I use the reset button often. However, trying to hit the tiny, thin reset button while driving a golf cart and thinking about my next shot isn’t easy. I often miss hit the reset button and nothing happens. I also hate the reset confirmation alert that comes up. Please change it or give option to count each hole individually and not total. (Total count only makes me nervous because it gives too much room for error.)

  • Can’t reset to zero

New Apple Watch se. can’t reset to zero.

Sorry. Are the three dots below the button not visible, or does the counter not reset, even if you tap the Reset button?
  • Works Nicely

I am a Buddhist and am using the app to count each prostration on my Apple Watch. The action of my rising to a standing position at the end of each prostration wakes up the watch and makes it easy.

Touching the middle bottom edge of the Apple Watch screen brings a reset pop up screen. Touch the very bottom edge. If you fat finger it you will tally another count. It was a little maddening until I stopped fat fingering.

  • Too time consuming to reset

  • Does what it says

Upon trying the aap, my thick brain couldn't figure out how to minus the number count or reset it to zero. I kept tapping/pressing the "buttons" on the bottom of the screen but to no avail. I finally discovered you're supposed to "slide" them instead of "pressing" them! Many thanks to the developer for this fine (and free) aap!

  • Great with one exception

I use this app on my I watch. The app often goes off screen between strokes. Is there a way to extend that time? Having to re-select the app mid play is too cumbersome.

Update: Developer recommended setting this App as a complication on my watch face, which I did. This makes this app much more usable. Thanks. Would be great for the developer to provide this tip as part of an instruction.

Apple allows only workout apps to stay in the foreground. I recommend adding FlinkCounter as a complication to your watch face. That way you can go back with one tap. Or you could also change the wake screen settings for your Watch: Watch app > My Watch > General > Wake Screen > On Screen Wake Show Last App.
  • Does what it says

Nothing more nothing less. No ads, free, what else could you want?
  • Question will this reset back to zero on my watch or do I use my phone

This would be very helpful as a new golfer if I can just use my watch.
Thanks for getting back to me about my watch question about using my watch.

    Developer Response

The counters on the iPhone and on the Apple Watch are independent. (You don't need to have your iPhone with you to use FlinkCounter on the Apple Watch.) To reset to zero on the Apple Watch you have to firmly press on the watch display. This will bring up a context menu where you can reset the counter to zero.
  • Golf

I use it to count my strokes on my watch. The watch closes the counter screen a little too quickly so have to keep the app active. But it works great, easy to see and clear.
